Karma at its finest..............

god must certainly be a baseball fan and with that in mind decided that barry bonds wont beat babe ruth this week. i am actually hoping that god stops him at number three. what are the odds of him taking a ball to the head before a game. rule number one is that you dont stick your head into the batting cage no matter how good of an idea it seems at the time. i'm sure barry has done that a million times and nothing ever happened but not last night. you can almost imagine the conversation.....

god: what do i have to do to stop him. i gave him a bad knee, a bad elbow...what?

st pete: i know, you've done everything.

god: hey, i know. do we have any lightning bolts left?

st pete: no. remember you used your last one on ariel sharon because pat robertson asked you to.

god: oh yeah. well in that case lets just cave his head in.

if only that could be true. hell i'm a reverand and i guess in my religion i'll refer to that as the truth. lets call that gods sermon to the pac bell crowd. again i will say that anything against barry has nothing to do with race but with barry being a prick his whole life and things just catching up with him. karma is an evil mistress.

ok, go about your thursday.

Things you dont expect..........

so i'm conversing with some ladies from my karate class and they said something that blew me away. the two sisters live with their mother (i assume she had them when she was 12 because shes not much older than me) and apparently have a guy living at their home. in the middle of the conversation this line was used...."tim, you know, the guy who lives in our garage". they kept going with the conversation but i stopped. "you have a guy living in your garage" i said, "what the hell is that". seems he used to live in the house but was such a pain in the ass he was relegated to the garage. its a two car garage but he only gets half. tarps are hung up to seperate the living space from storage. they still charge him the same rent though. sounds like a quality guy to me. the point is though that i never thought this petite little thing would say a line like that and then act like its no big deal. like everyone has a guy living in their garage. dont you? i think that from now on i'll try to put this phrase into all my conversations...." so that was right after i blew that chimp". that should turn a few heads. the secret is to keep going like its no big deal. go on you folks try it. put a completely ridiculous phrase right in the middle of your conversation. it keeps people on their toes. they never see it coming.....and why should they? keep in mind though that the phrase "tim, you know, the guy who lives in our garage" is already taken.

hump day. how inappropriately named.

Fox News radio host Tony Snow chosen as new White House press secretary. Job description largely unchanged........

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Fox News' Tony Snow is set to move from the anchor chair to the hot seat, agreeing to take on the role of White House press secretary amid slumping poll ratings for President Bush.
The appointment of Snow, who has formally accepted the job, will be announced Wednesday morning, according to three Republican sources familiar with Snow's discussions with the White House.
He will replace Scott McClellan, who announced last week he would step down from the post during a West Wing makeover by new White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten

apparently you see why fox never has a bad thing to say about this administration. it doesnt look good on their resume to the white house. i guess this just shows that fox news is just another arm of the bush white house. i guess scott mcclellan just ran out of lies or got dizzy from the spinning he had to do. this also proves that fox news is neither fair or balanced.

tuesday everyone....fight the doldrums.

Weekend observations..............

the los angeles bomb squad blew up a newspaper box because when opened a noise came out of it. seems the l.a. times put these machines inside of the boxes to play the mission impossible theme. i assume this is hype for the movie. i cant believe someone called that in to the police. is this what the world has come to? cant you hype a shitty movie without getting a vending machine blown up? what kind of terrorist would put in a soundtrack for their bomb? believe me if a terrorist was going to boobytrap a newspaper machine he wouldnt give you a warning. you would never know what hit you. my only hope is that if a box is boobytrapped that it goes off while tom cruise is sitting on top of it.

i saw some clips of our president on tv while some impersonator was standing next to him .....impersonating him. dubya couldnt have looked more uncomfortable if he tried. the one line i heard was "why couldnt i have dinner with the thirty six percent of the people who like me". i cant believe its still 36%. whats wrong with america. he looked uncomfortable but then i realized there wasnt anyone there to explain the jokes to him. there he was furrowing his brow in a vain attempt to understand. please lets impeach him soon.

big get togethers for darfur over the weekend. its a shame whats happening there and that nobody really knows much about it. i actually blame those people for living where there isnt any oil. its a fact that if you expect america to help you out then you better hold your genocide over a shitload of oil. in reality, whats going on there is a tragedy that we cant comprehend. it will take generations to overcome this if we could stop it today. if you listen to john lennons song "imagine" it makes more and more sense every day.

alright its monday. get on the stick everyone.

Outsourcing at the highest level............

A man sentenced to 90 years in prison for attempting to set his Orlando home on fire with his family sleeping inside said God commanded him to sacrifice his wife and children, according to a Local 6 News report.
Hans Missal, 51, admitted to dousing his Orlando home with gasoline last March. Missal also duct-taped the doors shut and ran a hose from the house to a car tailpipe while his wife, son and daughter slept before he attempted to set the structure on fire.
Missal compared himself to the Bible's Abraham, who was commanded by God to sacrifice his own son, and said he received a message from God to kill his entire family, Local 6 News reported.
"God had a plan for my family, I had no idea what that plan was," Missal said. "I trusted God and God was faithful to the end."
"I know that God was putting me through a test," Missal said. "He said, 'Do you love your family?' And absolutely, I love them more than anything in this world."
"Missal understands why people may think he is mentally ill," Local 6 reporter Mike DeForest said. "But he said it was all God's plan for him to serve the next 90 years in prison
He also said it was God's plan for his wife and children to endure such mental anguish.
"I know too many children who have easy lives and they suffer for that," Missal said.
"So, this was to make your kid stronger?" DeForest said.
"It was not to make my kid stronger, but they will be stronger because of it," Missal said.
Missal is leading a Bible study group at jail.
He will soon be transported to state prison, where he plans to spend time praying.

i remember when god used to do this kind of stuff himself or he would send the angel of death. he didnt ask someone to do this kind of thing. next thing you know hes going to be getting apu from india to do this job. i understand they will kill for less. the funny part is this guy thinks its gods will that he spend the next 90 years in jail. is this gods idea of a practical joke. its going to make his kid stronger? i dont see how with him sleeping with one eye open from now on. i guess you have to be pretty secure in your afterlife to throw god under the bus for wanting to murder your family. on a related story............

Five Mexican children were killed when a large metal cross they were praying at was struck by lightning in central Mexico, local media reported Monday.
Five children between 9 and 16 years old died and several others suffered burns when lightning struck a white-painted metal cross set on a hill in the town of Santa Maria del Rio early on Sunday, according to two newspaper reports.
Several families had been participating in a midnight ceremony as part of a local religious festival that centers around the cross.

see now this is the god from the old testament. kill people praying at a cross. its so like him. actually it proves that you really should hang around a large metal cross (ie: lightning rod) during a thunderstorm. it didnt matter that they were praying.

friday is fun day kids. lets have some.

oil, oil everywhere..........

president bush went before the renewable fuel association to give a speech. he told them that he knew there was a problem with gas prices but that he didnt have a magic wand to wave over it and fix the problem. this is really bad because without a magic wand we will have to rely on his brain. as we have learned (far too late by the way)his brain is not his friend. in reality its not our friend either. his brain is only wired to help his friends and family and, almost without fail, screw america. as he pointed out to the good people of the rfa there are many different alternative fuels andv as soon as the good folk at haliburton find a way to monopolize it and keep the prices artificially high he will decide which one to fund. seems like a dandy idea seeing that hes allowing exxon to literally put a straw into iraq and suck it dry, which by the way was made possible by creatibg a needless war, but those good times cant go on forever. try to keep this all in mind when you go to vote for your representitives and senators that told you what a great administration this is and how they care about america. no one imagined five years ago that things could be as bad as they are right now but they are (thank you red states). the congressmen and woman are now running away from bush as fast as their little snakelike legs can carry them but the stench of this administration sticks with them. if they are that bad of judges of charcter should they be making decisions for america? vote them out.

what a way to start your thursday.....now get movin.

And you think your behind in rent.......

A WOMAN lay dead in her flat for almost three years with the heating and TV on before her body was found.
Joyce Vincent's skeleton was surrounded by unopened Christmas presents and stacks of unopened mail had built up on her doormat.
The 40-year-old's body was so decomposed that the only way to identify her was to compare dental records with a holiday photograph of her smiling.
Ms Vincent was found lying on her back on the floor of the living room, which also doubled as a bedroom.
Police believe she probably died of natural causes in early 2003 but an inquest at Hornsey Coroner's Court today heard she was not found until January this year.
She had apparently been placed in the women's refuge accommodation as a victim of domestic violence, a spokesman for the coroner said.
Officials from Metropolitan Housing Trust only visited the bedsit in Wood Green, north east London, on January 25 because thousands of pounds of rent arrears had piled up.
When they drilled the door open they discovered stacks of unopened post, dating back almost three years and medication and food with February 2003 expiry dates.
Pathologist Dr Simon Poole told the inquest he had been unable to establish the cause of death because the remains were "largely skeletal", but police do not regard the circumstances as suspicious.

ok, this story is sad. i get it but on the upside you dont have to pay rent for three years here. i mean who the hell can get away with not paying the rent for three years? thats the amazing part of this story. thats a landlord whos very understanding. do you think he went afterthe estate for back rent? i mean hes been housing her corpse for those years.

this should get your hump day off to a rousing start.

Please dont stress out the church..........

CATHOLIC group Opus Dei has told Sony Pictures that putting a disclaimer on the upcoming movie The Da Vinci Code stressing it is a work of fiction would be a welcome show of respect toward the Church
With the movie's opening a month away, Opus Dei and other Christian groups have been sponsoring websites telling people the novel should not be believed.
A letter posted on Good Friday holiday on Opus Dei's website cites media reports as saying Sony Pictures may consider a disclaimer.
"An eventual decision of Sony in this direction would be a sign of respect toward the figure of Jesus Christ, the history of the Church, and the religious beliefs of viewers," the group said in the letter.

can i see a disclaimer before every showing of the ten commandments? is its fiction then why should the church be bothered and if its not fiction.......then they should crawl into a corner and be quiet. the book does not show any disrespect towards jesus and any directed at the church are deserved. oh well, as sony thinks ...any publicity is good publicity. this movie is going to make a bazillion dollars at the box office regardless of what the church does.

by the way did they show a disclaimer before the passion of the christ?

cmon , it tuesday. things arent going to get done by themselves.

And your job is bad..............

Police in Iowa have arrested two people accused of filing a fake obituary for teenager Dan "D.J." Reddout with a newspaper to get off work for a few days.
Police said James Ralph Snyder, who is the boyfriend of Reddout's mother, and the boy's mother, Mary Jo Elizabeth Jensen, submitted a death notice to the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier newspaper, saying that Jensen's 17-year-old son had died at the Mayo Clinic after a lengthy illness.
Authorities were notified after the teen was spotted at a restaurant by some family friends.
Police said the pair did it so they could get off work for a few days.
Both Snyder and Jensen worked at Tyson Foods and started taking time off from work in December by claiming the boy was hospitalized with an illness, the paper reported.
As the scheme continued, Tyson officials were told the boy was on life support and had died, according to the paper.
Snyder and Jensen took several days for funeral leave, the paper reported. After they took the days off, officials from Tyson told the pair they needed verification for their absences, the paper reported.
"The boyfriend eventually went to the Waterloo Courier and had a false obituary placed in the newspaper to satisfy their employer," the Courier reported.
The Courier reported that the teen's mother said the fake obituary was caused by "bad communication" and that Snyder submitted the obituary after she told him her son was ill and she had joked about his death.
Synder is charged with tampering with records. Jensen is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

The obituary read as follows:

Dan “D.J.” Reddout (1988-2005)

WATERLOO — Dan “D.J.” Reddout, 17, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Dec. 24, at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., of complications from surgery.
He was born April 26, 1988, in Waterloo, son of James Snyder and Mary Jo Jensen. He attended West High School.
Survived by: his parents of Waterloo; grandparents, Vern and Edie Reddout of Iowa City and Glenda Tidaman of Waterloo; an uncle, Kevin Reddout of Cedar Rapids; and two aunts, Janet Reddout of Cedar Rapids and Sandy (Randy) Lee of Stout.
Graveside services: were Tuesday at Osage Memorial Cemetery, Osage.
Memorials: may be directed to the family.

how bad of a job does this woman have? what were the ideas she turned down? these are the questions i want answered. can you imagine that conversation....."should we kill him? we can use the time. no honey lets not kill him now. lets save that for when things are really stressful". you think this kid sleeps with one eye open now? if mom is willing to file a fake obit to get some time off she'll kill you for a weeks paid vacation. mom isnt in the running for mother of the year but what kind of mom jokes about the kids death? i can see where you'd think that was a misunderstanding. well it looks like they'll be getting some time off soon.

happy monday everyone.

Think your cursed?............

Moscow - Russian police are looking for two mystics who persuaded a student to part with more than $160 000 in exchange for lifting a curse, RIA news agency reported on Sunday.
"Two unknown women, on the pretext of lifting a curse, stole $150 000 and some jewellery by means of deception.
The total amount stolen is estimated at 4.48 million roubles ($161 800)," the agency quoted a police source as saying.
The victim is a female student at Moscow's elite State Institute for International Affairs, RIA said.
Many Russians are highly superstitious.
They spend huge sums each year on faith healers and alternative medicine.

Singapore - An 18-year-old student jumped to his death because he was convinced his genitals were too small, a Singapore coroner's report said on Wednesday.
In delivering the verdict of suicide, state Coroner Tan Boon Heng said that the incident highlighted the importance of sex education in and outside schools.
The junior college student's death showed that even intelligent young people can be "victims of misinformation," Tan said.
"The deceased was so tormented by his unfounded (belief in his) inadequacy that it drove him to end his life," the ruling said.

some of you looked a little down and i want ed to show you some folks who have a real reason to feel down. i mean way down. "way down upon the swanee river".....ok you bugs bunny fans will get that the rest of you will think that was drivel. anyways, to kill yourself for small genitals would be like a death sentence for every asian man. hell, its a death sentence for me. actually i'm huge in asia. as for the faith healers in russia well, we have them here too. there called priests. anyone whos catholic knows that nobody goes after your money harder than the church with nothing in return. its faith healing under another name. you see pleanty of college educated people in america giving money to religions so dont laugh at the russians so quick. oh well, at least we can laugh at the misfortunes of others.

its friday everyone.......lets celebrate.

Tom cruise is completely insane..........

TOM Cruise yesterday revealed his latest bizarre mission..to eat his new baby's placenta.
Cruise vowed he would tuck in straight after girlfriend Katie Holmes gives birth, saying he thought it would be "very nutritious".
The Mission Impossible star, 43, said: "I'm gonna eat the placenta. I thought that would be good. Very nutritious. I'm gonna eat the cord and the placenta right there." It is the latest in a series of increasingly strange outbursts from Cruise in the run-up to the birth.
The actor, who recently also claimed he has the power to cure drug addicts, has even been carrying out his own medical scans on the fetus after buying himself an ultrasound machine.
Silent birth is one of the rules of the cult of Scientology, which Cruise is devoted to.
The cult - founded by the late sci-fi writer L Ron Hubbard - claims that 75 million years ago aliens came to earth and their spirits now infest our bodies.
Cruise told GQ magazine Hubbard had discovered making a noise had a "negative spiritual effect" on someone giving birth. He insisted that 27-year-old Katie would be allowed to scream, adding cryptically: "It is really about respecting the woman. It's not about her screaming.
"And scientifically it is proven. Now there are medical research papers that say when a woman's giving birth everyone should be quiet."

ok, lets just assume he meant that he wanted to eat some "corn and polenta" and not the cord and placenta. he was misquoted. to assume otherwise would be admitting hes just plain "batshit crazy". ok, i was just joking...hes batshit crazy. there is some really funny stuff in this article not the least of which is the refering to scientology as a cult. sure its a cult but not any more than catholicism or judaism or......well you see where i'm going. thank god this kids parents are wealthier than god because the kid stands no chance at all of being normal. tom is screwed up and he found scientology later in life. imagine what that will do to a kid whos indoctrinated from birth.

the funny thing is this was knocked off of the headlines by the duke lacrosse team raping a hooker.........sorry i meant stripper. under the heading that "any publicity is good publicity" this should be a boon to the duke lacrosse program but i'm guessing they feel otherwise. i see two sides to this (dont i always). first, isnt it funny that the two guys arrested are from the two wealthiest families. they are the richest kids on the team and wouldnt a stripper be able to google that info in a jiffy. usually this is just to get $200 in the champagne room but the payoff here would be much larger. on the other hand is there anyone who thinks some privledged white kids would think twice about raping a black stripper without any consequences. hmmmm..... rich white kids taking advantage of someone of a lesser staion in life....where have i heard this scenerio before? oh yeah, the white house.....right now. so actually if they did rape her they could argue that they only raped one black stripper while our president rapes a nation .....and hes not arrested. a strong case for both sides. it will be interesting to see where the fickle finger of fate finally lands but i'm guessing it wont be on the rich white kids.

its thursday kids, get out and have some fun.

Teachers cant catch a break..........

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A teacher on her way to school in South Dakota was caught speeding at more than 100 mph, thanks to a tip from a driver who said the woman had been routinely passing him at triple-digit speeds, authorities say.
Heather Jo Smith, 25, of Fargo, was clocked at 102 mph on Wednesday near the Horace exit on Interstate 29, Cass County Sheriff's Capt. Mike Argall said.
Smith was driving a car that is owned by the Northeast Educational Co-op in Hayti, S.D., Argall said.
Smith did not immediately return a telephone message seeking comment Thursday that was left at her office. A message left at a Fargo listing for Heather Jo Smith was not immediately returned.
"We got a tip from a gentleman who said he had been passed by a small, dark car with South Dakota plates at least five times in the last month going more than 100," Argall said.
The man called authorities on Tuesday to report the driver. The next day, a deputy was posted along the highway near Horace, where the man said he had been passed by the speeding vehicle, each time at around 8 a.m.
"As luck would have it, there was a small, dark car with South Dakota plates heading south at more than 100," Argall said.
Smith was pulled over shortly before 8 a.m.
Tips about speeders rarely result in a ticket because the driver is long gone before a deputy can respond, Argall said. "This was a good one," he said.
Smith was issued a ticket for $135 and assessed 10 of the 12 points on her North Dakota driver's license, Argall said.
Smith's employer also was contacted. Smith works as a speech pathologist at the school, Argall said.
"We talked to her supervisor and he was appreciative," Argall said. "Hopefully, they will take interest in her driving because we sure did."

is anybody ever happy with teachers? if she was late you would bitch. shes trying to get to school on time and someone turns her in. cmon folks, make up your mind. at least this one isnt screwing her students.....yet. lets be honest, 102 mph is way out of line. if she went out of control and killed someone this woulddnt be a funny post. i would be calling for her head.

ok its wednesday....get humpin.

More school sex..................

A teacher in Coffeeville, Ala., has been charged with having sex with at least four students from Coffeeville High School, involving at least one of them in a plot to kill her husband, police said.
Police said Sharon Linton Rutherford, 30, was arrested in connection with the accusations.
A sheriff's detective said two of the four apparent victims were under the age of 16. Authorities are investigating to see if any more students have been involved.
The charges Rutherford faces include solicitation of murder, first-degree rape, second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.
Rutherford remains in the Clarke County Jail with bond set at $55,000.
A school official said Rutherford was placed on administrative leave from her position as an English teacher until the case is completed.

wow, this goes on more than i thought. why didnt i get picked for this assignment. i would have screwed a teacher for extra credit. on the other hand this one isnt so easy on the eyes. sure that cute blonde in florida had us all drooling but this one might not do the trick. can a kid this age really need viagra? i think we can stop calling these young boys "victims". i would have loved to be a victim of this when i was in school. the funny thing is it seems these women cant stop with these kids. that mary latourneau (that cant be the right spelling) went to jail because she couldnt stand to be away from that kid and then married him when she got out and that lefevre (again , not the right spelling) chick from florida is going back to jail because she contacted her kid over the net. if i was these kids i'd be bragging about this. hell, if i was their dad i'd be bragging. imagine that conversation at the club....." well i understand your johnny hit the game winning homerun but my billy has a hot blonde going back to jail because she cant get enough of his johnson". what a proud family moment.

alright get busy on some tuesday stuff.

God speaks again.........

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -- The pursuit started along US 27 in Tavares when deputies tried to pull over Ashley Walters for driving with a broken taillight. The 19-year-old refused to stop, leading led deputies and highway patrol on a chase that finally ended near the Polk County line.
The Lake County Sheriff Department has a brand new form of ammunition that was used for the first time in a tactical situation. The small, red gumball-shaped round, known as a "pepper ball," is fired from a gun. Upon impact, it explodes and spreads pepper spray all over the place.
19-year old Ashley Walters is a very soft spoken young woman, at least when she talked with us, and she's also in a whole lot of trouble.
Walters was racing down US 27 at one-thirty in the morning, trying to outrun Lake County deputies and the Florida Highway Patrol.
The chase went on for miles, until she finally pulled into the median near the Polk County line.
Walters refused to get out of the car; after 41 minutes she learned a lesson the hard way.
Lieutenant Steve Moss fired his rifle at the fleeing suspect. It was loaded with the powder ammunition called a 'pepper ball."
He blasted Walters' car, pepper spray exploding all over it. It turns out it did not stop her, and Walters peeled out and took off again.
After a few more miles she stopped the car, and deputies raced up and smashed their way through the windows, firing more pepper balls, and eventually using a taser to subdue her.
Finally, they pulled Walters out of the vehicle, and now she's facing felony charges for trying to outrun the law and resisting arrest. This is Walters' third trip to jail.
Walters claims she is on medication for manic depression, but the Sheriff's cannot confirm that.
The reason the deputy tried to pull her over was that her tail lights were out.
Walters says the reason why did she not stop was that she felt the presence of God telling her to keep driving.

ok, is it just me or is god handing out some shaky advice lately. this i would categorize as really bad advice. maybe god has a really wacked sense of humor. oh how i hope that is true. its my invite into heaven. really though isnt it funny how almost everyone who you know who found god found god when no one else would reach out to them. after you've run through everyone you know and ruined every relationship you ever had then you seem to find god. oh well, i guess i better go ask god some questions about why mondays suck so bad.

ok, its monday. get goin. the work isnt going to get done by itself.

The easter post.............

what would easter week be without a touching religious post from me. and now, a story about someone who really, in this day and age, embodies what christs teachings mean to me. so without further ado.......

Katie Holmes is standing by Tom Cruise's Scientology beliefs by not speaking to her own child for 7 days after giving birth. Katie is said to be pregnant with a girl and according to Scientology rules mothers cannot speak to their children for one week after giving birth.
Katie has also been advised not to make any loud noises during labor as to not stress out the baby.
L. Ron Hubbard suggests that mothers not have any communication with their babies, so the newborn will not associate their voice with the trauma of birth.
I think that hearing Tom Cruise's crazy voice will be much more traumatic for the baby than hearing his own mother's voice.

is there anything more ridiculous than scientology. this is just kooky. yes i used the word kooky. i once used the phrase "batshit crazy" when refering to scientologists and i think it aplies here too. feel free to use whatever you feel is acceptable and allows you to sleep through the night. by the way does anyone else think that l ron hubbard had a traumatic birth and that his mother was just a bitch.

oh well, happy easter everyone. heres hoping you find all the eggs you hid around the house before they go bad.

The republican partys ship is sinking........

is there anything i love more than watching the wheels come off of this administration? do i think it will matter at all? will the democrats be any better? the answer to every one of the questions is no. it is fun to see bush get caught in lies and as i said the other day i will accept his letter of resignation any time he wants. read on my friends.............

Vice President Cheney threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the home opener of the Washington Nationals game today. The crowd was was less than thrilled to have him there, loudly booing over the Fox News reporter. (Note: Fox producers muted the crowd audio halfway through before letting viewers “listen in” after the pitch.)

Political reversals at home and continued bad news from Iraq have dragged President Bush's standing with the public to a new low, at the same time that Republican fortunes on Capitol Hill also are deteriorating, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll.
The survey found that 38 percent of the public approve of the job Bush is doing, down three percentage points in the past month and his worst showing in Post-ABC polling since he became president. Sixty percent disapprove of his performance

On May 29, 2003, 50 days after the fall of Baghdad, President Bush proclaimed a fresh victory for his administration in Iraq: Two small trailers captured by U.S. and Kurdish troops had turned out to be long-sought mobile "biological laboratories." He declared, "We have found the weapons of mass destruction."
The claim, repeated by top administration officials for months afterward, was hailed at the time as a vindication of the decision to go to war. But even as Bush spoke, U.S. intelligence officials possessed powerful evidence that it was not true.

A golden nugget............

i love to find well written articles on the web. its like finding a gold nugget in a stream.......a really large stream. i envy people who can write well. the ability to get all your thoughts down in a concise manner without alot of extra bullshit evades me (as any reader of this blog will tell you). let me say that i was turned onto this article by my friends at the atheist revolution. so with out further ado......

The atheist and the moderate Muslim
When it comes to taking offence,

we all need to do some growing up

Those angry protesters were really, really going at it. They rallied and yelled and said the artwork "sew[ed] evil into people," made a mockery of their god, and that, "there should be freedom of speech but there should never be freedom for desecration."
Said indignant Stephen Green, national director of Christian Voice, "If this show portrayed Mohammed or Vishnu as homosexual, ridiculous and ineffectual, it would never have seen the light of day."
Oh, I'm sorry. Did you think I was talking about something else?
No one died during this particular protest, mind you, but apart from that there's not much difference between Christian Brits recently protesting Jerry Springer: The Opera and Muslims protesting those Danish cartoons.
Both groups were offended. They were upset. Their feelings were bruised. As sullenly explained by Pakistani regional chief minister Akram Durrani, "Nobody has the right to insult Islam and hurt the feelings of Muslims."
Hurt feelings? Are you fragging kidding me!?
It used to be mommy would get you a cookie when your feelings got hurt if nobody wanted to play with you because you wore the wrong clothes or had stupid hair. It is sort of cute and appropriate when you're a toddler. It's not so cute when grown men call for shows to be shut down or for the hands of artists to be chopped off, because they've been offended!
If you're Oprah Winfrey and your feelings have been wounded by an author whose tall tale you couldn't see through, surrounded as you are by the haze of the cult of self-help, you take that author to the public woodshed and spank him for an hour. James Frey has been a bad, bad man for hurting Oprah's feelings.
But at least he's not a filmmaker, who, like Ang Lee, has made a movie "morally offensive" to Catholics. Or a British insurance company whose employee incentive program, consisting of bottles of wine, resulted in a Muslim employee ending up with "hurt feelings." And let us not forget the music teacher in Colorado who showed students clips of the opera Faust. It "glorifies Satan," an outraged and offended parent said.
Well, of course it does, dear.
When a misunderstanding had it that Britney Spears was to appear in a guest spot on Will & Grace as a right-wing Christian, The American Family Association said the role, "mocks the crucifixion of Christ." Would you like a cup of warm milk and a lie-down?
It's comforting to know there are people out there who try to shield other sensitive souls from being offended. Like the Suffolk schoolteacher who asked that the crosses be removed from the cafeteria hot-cross buns so as to not upset pupils who are Jehovah's Witnesses. Or, bless their hearts, our very own CHFI radio, which will not run an ad that uses the word vagina, because it might make their listeners "uncomfortable" or make children ask questions, something that must be discouraged at all costs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I work hard, as an atheist, at not being angered by the increasing inclusion of this, that or whatever god in areas of life that should be secular
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, to sum up: pastries, cartoons, vaginas, opera, literary licence, free wine, cowboys romping and Britney Spears. I have to say that, apart from Britney, there's nothing there I find even slightly offensive.
Hot-cross buns are yummy. Editorial cartoons are a quick and smart way of making a point in a world increasingly attention-span-challenged. Without vaginas none of us would be here. Opera is, granted, an acquired taste, but once you get it... . Literary licence is not against the law and can lead to evocatively interesting prose. Who doesn't like free wine? Good-looking guys who are into each other? Pretty.
Even Britney is kind of amusing in her idiocy. Point being, if you don't like bread and female genitalia and fat singing ladies and gay love and wine and authors who lie, don't look. Don't listen. Don't read. Don't go to the opera. Turn away. Shrug your shoulders and go enjoy whatever it is that calms your fragile psyche.
Just spare us the nonsense about the hurt feelings and the offence taken. What are you? Five?
Think very hard about whether your personal sense of hurt and feelings of being entitled to an existence never rocked by doubt or discomfort is worth the risk of works like The Life of Brian, The Satanic Verses and The Last Temptation of Christ being made.
Consider carefully the murder of Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh.
Here's a radical thought: Instead of getting upset by ideas, check out the old guy who is right now freezing to death under the overpass. Or consider the thawing of the polar cap. Or check out those videos of people getting their heads sawed off. There is plenty of real stuff to pour all that outrage into.
I work hard, as an atheist, at not being angered by the increasing inclusion of this, that or whatever god in areas of life that should be secular. I succeed because I tell myself it's none of my business what people believe, although every time they pray on Survivor or I hear another one-hit wonder thanking God for His direct hand in securing a People's Choice Award, I do feel the need to say a dirty word. Just to counteract.
I happen to think religion is destructive, oppressive and overburdened by silly hats. I also think the only reason Christianity has more adherents and respectability than, say, the Raelians or the Scientologists, is that the Christians came along first.
Don't let that keep you from looking heavenwards. Do what you will in the comfort of your own home or place of worship and rest assured that when I visit I will behave politely, cover up whatever vile parts of my body offend your particular god, and refrain from eating ham sandwiches while you pray.
If being offended is such a necessity to your enjoyment of life or your sense of self, think about the censorship you implicitly advocate. Consider that you may not be the one who gets to decide what is offensive and should be banned.
Maybe it will be me.
I guarantee you wouldn't like it.

oh how i wish i would have written this. its taken from the toronto star.

The teflon administration.........

Let me just say something about leaks in Washington. There are too many leaks of classified information in Washington. There's leaks at the executive branch; there's leaks in the legislative branch. There's just too many leaks. And if there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of.

President Bush 9/30/03

A former White House aide under indictment for obstructing a leak probe, I. Lewis Libby, testified to a grand jury that he gave information from a closely-guarded "National Intelligence Estimate" on Iraq to a New York Times reporter in 2003 with the specific permission of President Bush, according to a new court filing from the special prosecutor in the case.

New York Sun 4/6/06

wow, you smack a turd with a mallet and everyone around is going to get sprayed with some shit. i know that the republicans are going to say that this is a witch hunt but i remember when your party spent a bazillion dollars trying to get a man impeached because of a hummer in the oval office. now i'm not saying that what clinton did was right, i am saying that i think this is far worse. clinton might have been cheating on his wife (ok, he was cheating...what am i saying "might of" for) and for that brief time might not have been paying full attention to the world and he did lie but i think this is far worse. the hummer didnt effect our nation. it didnt color what the people knew and ultimately felt about the war. it does show that when one party controls all the branches of government that we, the people, can be fooled with ease. you will not see dubya on tv having to defend himself like clinton did. hell this is being pushed under the rug (after being spun wildly) even as we speak. this administration has madde a career out of double speak, telling us one thing while doing another or just plain old lieing for years now. when are we going to put dubyas feet to the flame like we did to clinton.

by the way the president knows where i'm at and can forward his letter of resignation to me at his earliest convenience (i will accept cheneys too).

short week (at least for me) so lets pretend its tuesday......as opposed to last week where i had five mondays.

Lets discuss the bible ................

scientists have said that they have done a study and that jesus might have been walking on ice when he walked on water. so? if you really believe that he existed and he was the son of god and you actually believe in god then is anything too farfetched? i mean, he is god ,isnt he? god can do anything. why does anything shock us? why would a scientist even care about this? how about curing cancer. why would you do a study about a book of fiction. i hope the next study is about how gillyweed helped harry potter swim underwater for so long. i have my theories but i'm hoping they can shed some light on it.

and in other scriptures that have been found it seems like judas moght not be such a bad guy after all. seems in this story judas is one of the most loyal of all the apostles and set up the death of jesus under his orders. this proves that jesus really could delegate things. he understood how an organization is to work and if wanted to free up any "me time" he was going to have to have someone do some of the work. even though he was the son of god , and could do everything, he didnt want to. it also showed that judas was a "go to" guy when you needed things done. if you really believe in the bible wouldnt you like to see the real story....not the one the catholic church chose as the real story (wink wink, nudge nudge). arent women going to get pissed off that they are portrayed as the starter of all the trouble.

oh well, isnt it funny how the easter season brings out all of these stories. its friday everyone .....lets celebrate.

Boo hoo barry..............

i cant believe this made it to tv. barry bonds new reality show is unbelievable. no, literally, it completely unbelievable. lets get this straight, i cried during field of dreams when he starts catching ball with his father. i cried during old yeller. i once cried during an episode of the three stooges but i couldnt well up even one tear for barry when he cried about his father. his dad was an alcoholic? tough shit. you were coddled your whole life. your dad yelled at you while he coached your little league team? too damn bad. growing up my buddies dad was a horrible alcoholic. he came home from work completely drunk and yelled at everyone until he passed out in a pile of half eaten food and cheap porno magazines. my buddy would have loved his dad to yell at him during a little league game. after his dad smacked him around and belittled him he never took him into the giants locker room to hang with the other players. that never happened. my buddy cried himself to sleep wishing it would but it didnt. barrys been sheltered and coddled his whole life and thats why hes such a prick now. its not a racial thing that people dont want barry to break hank aarons record its because hes such an insufferable prick. that "reality" show is just a commercial to make barry look better to the public....to make him look a little sympathetic. well i just laughed with every one of barrys tears. his dad should have beat him harder. the show is completely scripted and its completely transparent. its not even interesting enough to make me puke.

now i'm a tv critic. are you happy you've driven me to that?

It's really a shame.............

in this day and age that people in this country do not have health insurance. every industrialized country has national health insurance. most have had it for forty or fifty years but not america. the richest and most powerful country in the history of the world doesnt have it. shows you just how much power the health care lobby really has. the massachusetts legislature approved a bill yesterday that requires all residents to purchasae health insurance or face penalties. this makes that the first state to treat everyone like a car. i dont understand this. do they think that people dont want health insurance? the reason someone doesnt have health insurance is because they cant afford it. will fining them make that situation any better? if you buy health insurance and then cant afford your rent, becoming in effect homeless, are you still considered a resident? this is really a national shame. well at least exxon is doing well......and what else really matters.

anna benson, wife of baltimore oriole kris benson, filed for divorce last week. you might remember anna (or you might not) because she was a cheap stripper who got to marry a major leaguer because he fell in love with his first piece of ass. she also said that if she ever caught him cheating she would sleep with the entire mets organization (a move which has the batboys salivating right now). well anna has taken back the divorce decree. i'm sure that true love has overcome the bad feelings or more likely her porn website is making her more money than him and she might have had to pay him alimony. well, either way, its a good lesson. dont marry some cheap whore you hook up with in a cowtown when your in aa baseball. nothing good can come of it.

wednesday everyone. is anyone else really tired today?

What did you expect.............

when one party controls the entire government you can expect certain unalienable rights to disappear. some of them we dont notice and some disappear with our blessing because of what we are told. this is one of those cases. joise padilla has been kept in prison for three years. no trial. no family. no lawyer. no rights. he has been held under the patriot act as a terrorist. the government said that he was involved in a conspiracy to bring a dirty bomb into this country. now i'm not saying he isnt guilty.......i'm just saying i dont know. i would know if the government actually put him on trial. lets be honest, they have enough evidence to hold him. if you have that then have a trial and convict him. now alot of people think this is ok because hes a terrorist. he might be.....then again he might not be. who knows? think this is ok? how about if the administration finds what you think to be offensive. they can just put you away without having to prove anything. they dont have to act and you dont get your say. still sound good? the supreme court refused to decide whether the president can detain americans classified as "enemy combatants" indefinitely and without charges. they voted 6-3 yesterday to reject jose padillas (an american citizen i might add) appeal. this is what we get for voting in the worst president ever twice.

hey, and in a related story to our president and his horrible policies exxon has surpassed wal-mart on the fortune 500. by allowing exxon to gouge the american driver exxon mobil raked in 340 billion in revenue (a 25.5% increase over 2004) and 36.1 billion in profits....the most by any american company in history. thank god the government gave them some tax breaks. they were in real trouble. you can see how the trouble in the mid-east and the hurricanes really cut into them. i can only imagine how many of dubyas friends sit on exxons board of directors. his friends and family made a huge profit this year on our backs. i know, you can say i'm just bashing bush again......but prove me wrong here. show me where i'm way off base. i'm begging you. ok, you cant do that....at least lube me up. this screwing is really beginning to hurt.

ok tuesday everyone, lets get on the stick.

Draft this mr. president.............

i get so tired of people saying this country needs a draft. it occurs to me that this country only needs a draft when the war is wrong or we are in something we cannott/are notgoing to/wont even try to win. people signed up for world war 1 and 2. people signed up to go to afghanistan. we only need a draft for things like vietnam or the muslim word for vietnam....iraq. some douche bag in a rich suburb of pittsburgh called sewickley wrote a letter to the editor about the fact that we need a draft. i'm willing to bet that this douche has no children. its easy for a rich republican to call for a draft. the burden of the fighting will fall upon the children of the poor. these are the people who cannot buy their children into the national guard (like our president) or can afford to put their children through a dozen years of college (like our vice president). as for my three children i would personally drive them to canada rather than see them fight in this insane war. this isnt a failed war, this war accomplished exactly what bush and friends wanted. chaos there will allow the friends of bush to rape that country of everything they want. as for my children they are classified for the draft as lb3. they will be the third people into iraq after laura bush.

way to start the week with a rant. go monday.

Poor tom...................

One of the veterans of tabloid magazines and paparazzi interest, Tom Cruise has recently reached the peak of his unpopularity as magazine readers have voted him one of the most undesirable stars.
In a recent Stuff magazine poll readers have been asked to vote for the least desirable overnight camping companion. Cruise became the undisputed winner of this year’s poll, with 41% of the votes in his “favor”, dethroning Saddam Hussein’s 39%.
Another subject, which filled magazine articles for quite a while now, is his involvement with the Scientology Church, an issue rarely put on display in previous years. This is due to the fact that he convinced his fiancée, Katie Holmes, who was raised in a strict Catholic manner, to reject her religion in favor of his church.
It certainly proves to be a bad period, popularity wise, for Cruise. Not only his relationship with the Dawson Creek star has become one of Hollywood most boring stories but only a month ago Cruise has received a Razzie Award for last year’s questionable performances. It’s a long way to go down from the status of sex symbol and applauded actor, but Tom Cruise seems to be handling the situation fairly well and there have been no comments on the part of the actor regarding the present public opinion regarding him so far.

what happened to this guy. he was on top of the world and he just dropped like a stone. when people say that the like you right behind a terrorist its like a chick saying she doesnt want to make out with you because she would rather have unprotected anal sex with an aids patient (i stole that line fair and square). i think what happened is that its still the 1950's in most peoples minds and tom is like the blacks. people tolerated tom and all his scientologist hoohah as long as he didnt make alot of waves. then he went after a nice girl like katie holmes. in essence she was dating outside her race. it wasnt like she wanted to , she was brinwashed by tom. then to their horror he impregnated her. people cant put up with those uppity scientologists doing that kind of thing. there were pictures going around the net of scientologists bringing these signs into the cruise house telling her to be calm and quiet. anyone whos been around a woman giving birth knows that it isnt a quiet, peaceful thing. isnt it funny thazt a religion founded bt some guy (l. ron hubbard) is telling women how to give birth. anyone think that l. ron's wife was a screamer and he figured that this would be a much more enjoyable expirence if she would just keep quiet. leet me incorporate that into my religion. also let me ask is it just me or has katie holmes been pregnant for like two years. maybe aliens have a longer gestation period than regular humans. well i think katie is getting ready to pop soon. well tom , you can expect my card right after saddam gets his birthday card.

friday is off to a great start. lets all go home early and have a beer.

Opening day soon........

spring is in the air. the treers are starting to turn green again, birds are singing and soon baseball will be throwing out the first subpeona (i stole that line fair and square). its true baseball is starting an investigation into steroid use. they even went as far as to hire george mitchell to head the investigation. this is just another caase of baseballs kneejerk reaction to a controversy that they didnt mind at all. steroids have been running rampant for years now but baseball didnt care when the homerun records were falling. that saved baseball after the last strike. mcgwire and sosa should get a special room at cooperstown for that. on the other hand nobody like that surly jackass...barry bonds. baseball, in its defense, has a long history of reacting instead of proacting. they investigated because of cansecos book. they investigated after congress got involved. now they are starting after another book. is it hypocritical? sure. do i care? no. am i a hypocrite. yes. normally i would be up in arms over something like this but because it might screw barry bonds....i dont care. i hope to god he doesnt break hank aarons record. i have prayed for my god to give him a debilitating knee injury and even though god didnt come through with that....yet, i'll accept this as answering my prayer as long as it stops him. the real reason i suspect this is going to happen is because the corporate sponsors are worried that this will tarnish their reputation and are therefore worried about how they want their names used in relation to baseball. worries = less money. you do the math.

along with other math worries pittsburgh is having a bit of a problem with a new arena here in the city. pennsylvania is allowing slots and the slots license is up for grabs. isle of capri has said that they will give 290 million to pittsburgh to build a new arena if they get the license. harrahs has said that they will give a percentage of their revenue if they get the license. the democrat governor has backed harrahs after getting some campaign contributions. the republican candidate, lynn swann (former steeler and super bowl mvp) backs the isle of capri. the isle of capri paln is the better of the two. they have said they would give 290 million regardless of the revenue. harrahs has promised more money based on their projections. heres the problem. for harrahs to acheive their numbers the slot machines in pittsburgh would have to bring in more money per machine than any slot machines in the entire country......by 40 percent. that bears repeating. not only would pittsburgh slot machines have to do more money than any slots in the country they would have do 40 percent better than the best of the rest. now i know pittsburgh is screwed up but unless i've read people here completely wrong i'm not banking on them to have that much of a gambling problem. we gave the pirates a stadium that might get used 90 days a year. we gave the steelers a new stadium that might get used 25 times a year. this arena would get used over 220 nights per year. it would keep the penguins here but would also allow pittsburgh to get an arena football team, get concerts that have bypassed the city because of the outdated arena....etc. if harrahs gets the license thewn we all know the fix is in.

get on with your thursday everyone.

Disappointed.............

LAS VEGAS - A state trooper was charged Monday with nine felony counts of reckless driving and involuntary manslaughter in a crash that killed four people.
Trooper Joshua Corcran was driving 113 mph on Interstate 15 when his cruiser slammed into a car on Feb. 19 as he rushed home for dinner, police said. The posted speed limit was 65 mph.
Corcran's lawyer, Steve Wolfson, said his client would appear in court Tuesday to answer the charges.
"His career is at stake. His livelihood is at stake," Wolfson said. "Of course he is disappointed."
According to a police report, the trooper said he had just responded to an accident.
But neither his emergency lights nor siren were activated, and he did not contact his dispatcher to say he was involved in a high-speed chase or was responding to an emergency call, the report said.
Corcran, a five-year veteran of the Nevada Highway Patrol, was treated for broken bones, cuts and bruises. He was placed on paid medical leave after the accident.
Wolfson has said an investigation should show the crash was a tragic accident.

his career, his livelihood....i can understand his disappointment. i cant believe those insensitive people would ride on a highway knowing that he needed his dinner so quickly. isnt this just another way to crap on a good, hard working man? well, no....but thats what his lawyer would have you believe. lets go over this once more. the officer was racing down the highway (113 mph is racing kids) to get home for dinner. let me repeat that because it bears repeating..........to get home for dinner. the trooper didnt have his lights or siren on. this wasnt an emergency. he killed four people. that bears repeating too.....four people. now i'm sure this guy didnt get up in the morning and say "lets speed down the highway and kill some folks today". it was a bad decision. a monumentally bad decision. i understand that his life will be in turmoil but those four people....their lives are over. their careers, their livlihoods.....all gone. throwing him in jail forever...well....that wont bring them back...nor make their families feel any better. his lawyer on the other hand should be put away for life. these lawyers spend all their time figuring out how to make the victims guilty. there is no way to spin this in his favor.hes guilty...end of story. lawyers are like 200 pound leaches. they are parasites that prey off of the misery of others. they sow dischord and live off of its fruits. they are the monsters in most cases. just like churches the world would be without them. lets hope one day that happens.

get on with your hump day kids.

Guilty, of course he is.........

ok pittsburgh has made some headlines lately. a pigeon shooter held our downtown hostage for a couple of hours but mainly its because a young girl who disappeared ten years ago showed up out of the blue. for those who havent been watching the news heres how it goes. a 14 year old is kind if a loose cannon. shes run away a couple of times, stays out late....etc. not a horrible kid but just kind of a little wild. her parents are getting divorced and shes distraught. she disappears and is never found. seems she was seduced by a security guard at her middle school who hides her away and tells her he will kill her if she leaves. he has her hair cut and dyed and she lives in a room at his parents house..............for ten years. he just started to let her out of the house in the last couple of months. last week the girl walks into a grocer in her area and yells the grocer her real name and he calls the cops and shes reunited with her parents and the security guard goes to jail.

now comes the fun part. this security guard hired a lawyer named jim ecker. jim will (and has) represented some of the most vile pieces of shit you would ever want to see. as all lawyers he believes that any publicity is good publicity. well jim is starting to paint this young lady as the one with the problem. he comments on how shes "all dolled up" for the cameras in her interviews...etc. is it any wonder that woman dont come forward in rape cases when they get painted as whores? lets be honest, does this girl have some problems? sure. i can just look at her and tell. i'm good like that. this girl has more baggage than than the entire kennedy family. does that make this guy the victim? no. this guy, no matter what this girl did, is a scumbag. you took a 14 year old girl and held her hostage. even if she came on to you thats wrong. no ifs, ands or buts........hes wrong. he should be locked up for a long time. if it was my daughter he should prefer to be locked up. i would make it my lifes goal to see him suffer. they have also arrested a woman who helped him hide her by cutting and dying her hair and letting him use her place to have sex. she should be arrested...as well as anyone who knew this was going on. his parents should be arrested too. they said they didnt know he had her captive. sure , you didnt know your son haad a chick in his room for ten years. where do you think she came from? did your son find a magic lamp? did he get her out of the ads in the back of his comic books? cmon you lying bastards. he was kicking you some rent money and you didnt want to stop the gravy train. if any of his friends knew then they should be locked up too. they took away ten years of her life. he and his cohorts should get ten times that in jail.

and thats how i see it. happy tuesday everyone.

Say it aint so joan.........

Comedienne Joan Rivers is seriously looking for love on Match.com and so far, nada, zip, zilch.
Not even a nibble.
At 72 years old, she and her assistant Matt Stewart went ahead and created a profile for her on the website, where Joan is hoping to meet Mr. Perfect.
On her profile, she says she's looking for a man between the ages of 65 and 75 and although she doesn't want to walk down the aisle again, she's would like to hook up with a nice guy.
In a recent interview, she told the Associated Press:
"We were hoping to meet Mr. Right. We didn't even get a wink."

no shit? joan didnt get a bite? who wants to go out with that broad. shes 72 for christs sake. shes had a ton of work done on her face but you know that if you happen to get her clothes off that she didnt have any work done on that 72 year old body. it probably looks like the crypt keeper with joans fake head on it. remember folks , her husband killed himself. death was preferable to living with joan. where do i sign up to date this witch? actually i'd probably date and bang her if i had a guarantee of getting my hands on some of her cash. you know shes loaded. she cant live forever and the thought of rolling a brinks truck over her dried up, lifeless corpse is intriguing to say the least. oh well, better to have loved and lost than never to have loveed before joan. has anyone seen her kid lately. that daughter looks just like joan. through the miracle of bad plastic surgery she has become her mother. i dont know whats more disturbing....seeing melissas head on joans body or joans head on melissas body.

this post is a most disturbing way to start a week. lets get going.

scientology again...............

“Thanks, Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology, for your expert advice on mental health,” says this ad featured in LA Weekly. The ad continues, alerting readers that a woman was killed “by the schizophrenic son she was told to treat with vitamins instead of psychiatric care.”

The ad refers readers to PerkinsTragedy.org : Jeremy Perkins--A Scientology Family Tragedy; a web site which provides details on the case of Jeremy Perkins, a 28-year-old schizophrenic who stabbed his mother 77 times and watched her bleed to death on her bedroom floor. He is being held at Rochester Psychiatric Center, having been found not responsible for his mother's murder by reason of mental disease or defect.

Jeremy was a dedicated Scientologist while his mother was a counselor in the church and thanks to Tom Cruise and others, we have been enlightened to the fact that the Church of Scientology vehemently opposes psychiatry and psychiatric drugs, believing and instilling in it's members that psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization’s plot to drug and enslave humanity.

wow, did mom back the wrong god on this one. i love how the ad goes rigt after tom cruise. did he talk to this woman directly? was it his advice? ok, kinda, but thats not the point. i think the point is that when you refer to someone like this woman as intelligent but got bad advice.....well.....thats just not true. she was stupid. now i dont want to see anyone like her killed but the herd was culled. the gene pool was skimmed.....if you get my drift. if you want to believe in a make believe man from the sky then dont complain whaen your kid goes psycho and stabs you seventy some odd times. lets not forget here that his mother was a counselor in the church of scientology. she gave this same dopey advice to others. shes just as guilty as tom cruise or anyone in that dopey religion. i want to remind you that i'm not just picking on scientology. all organized religions are dopey. the universal life church ordained me. thats right ....me. i also have a doctorate from them though in that case i feel its well deserved. the true measure of a church would be to take away its tax exempt status and see if it survives. remove their tax exempt status and two thirds of all religions/churches would be gone. they would dry up and disappear. take away donations and the other third would go away. the world would be a better place.

its friday. its lent. i hope you didnt give up partying. tip one for me kids.

Pigeons , the bane of the city worker......

pittsburgh, as i have said in the past, is a twisted little city. we dont get credit for anything good that happens here but we do catch hell when it goes bad. well pittsburgh, i'm pitchin' and your catchin'. yesterday the city was put in lockdown. a sniper was holding the city ransom and swat teams and cops scoured the city searching for the hardened criminal. all the tv stations were covering it. in pittsburgh this isnt big news........ its huge news. it must have made national news because a friend in madison wisconsin called me and asked when i was coming down off of the roof. i , politely, explained that i wasnt going to go sniper crazy for at least another year and a half. after all this build up the criminal was found. it was some guy with a pellet gun who was shooting pigeons at the behest of his boss. thats right the hardened criminal was just some schmuck who didnt even realize that he was doing wrong. welcome to my world. now i must admit that when i thought it might be a real sniper i implored my boss to send our bookkeeper (who only has a job because a helper monkey is way to expensive) down to pittsburgh in a bullseye coat to report back to us. he consulted with our lawyers and insurance company and (even though he felt it might have been the best idea i had yesterday) decided against it. this is what amounts to drama in this cowtown. people will talk about this for years. this guy will get a "where is he now" segment on the local pbs station in ten years.

oh well, it could be worse. hey its thursday....get to work.

Child molesters and nfl players.............

maybe pennsylvania has it right. a bill was sponsored to make all convicted child molesters over 18 who preyed on children younger than 13 to wear a global positioning ankle bracelet. it would alert police if the person got close to a school or a daycare or a park....etc. i think you get the picture. this in conjunction with a mandatory 25 year sentence might make these sick bastards think twice. i'm torn because even though i like to see child molesters suffer i can see this being used unfairly by people in power. oh well, i guess i hope it goes through.

speaking of lowlifes, terrell owens signed with the cowboys. this puts three of the biggest douche bags (to, jerry jones and bill parcells) together for what i hope is the swan song for at least one of them. the cowboys will get one good year out of to. ok, maybe most of one full year then he will implode and take the team down with him. bill parcells is one of the most overrated coaches ever (what has he ever won without belichek)and i hope that this signing brings him down. the cowboys arent close to a super bowl but they are close to their own personal armegeddon courtesy of t.o. jerry jones is an asshole and you really cant tarnish his reputation. i feel bad for whoever coaches that team after this year. you know that jerry jones will throw parcells under the bus as soon as t.o. goes in the tank. you like t.o.? go ask the 49ers and eagles about what a great guy he is. hes a clubhouse cancer but when you know that and you still sign him you get what you deserve. americas team my ass.

good luck everyone....its hump day.

First she masters the world then the nfl.......

paul tagliabue is stepping down as commissioner of the nfl. this after he mediated the last cba for the league. under his tenure the nfl has continued to be the most well, and therefore richest, run sports organization. there were a number of names thrown out to replace him but the one that struck me as the most bizarre.....condeleeza rice. shouldnt she be more concerned with the world? arent we paying her to do something just a hair more important? i understand that people think she should run for president. note to condy.....the commissioners job pays a whole lot more. that is actually a shame. maybe if the job of president payed more then we would get someone worth a shit in the office. actually the nfl job used to be easy. the owners understood the concept of the golden goose and werent so anxious to kill it. the new owners are a different breed. its me me me all the time. after getting the job condy might think that fixing the mideast isnt such a daunting task. do you think tagliabue might have realized that the next cba is going to be a bloodbath. asshole jerry jones, little napoleon daniel snyder, kraft in boston....ther are all a bunch of assholes. they will be the death of the nfl. good luck to the next commish. your job is going to be a nightmare.

keep moving toward the end of the week kids. it will be here soon.

Too close to home...........

thats right, some things hit too close to home. just ask isaac hayes. hes the voice of chef on south park. he has been a mainstay for years. nothing offened him before. masturbation, murder, intolerance....everything was just ducky. he even stayed with the show when they made fun of christians, muslims, jews....etc. you getting the picture? what would make isaac leave the show? what breech of etiquite could possibly tip him over? well when they made fun of scientology (which isaac is a big proponent of) that was the last straw. thats right, making fun of the worlds funniest religion was what pushed him out. what a time to suddenly get religiously sensitive. as a reverend i can assure you that getting mad over religion is like fucking for virginity. it makes no sense. also because i have gods ear he says that scientology is a joke. he told me that you cant just make up a religion. hid did waver slightly when i pointed out that he had done that long ago but then he promised to smite me if i continued with that line of questioning....so i stopped.

well my ncaa brackets is just hanging on. george mason vs wichita state? did anyone really have that on their bracket? call it home town bias but i had pitt going to the final four. sure i needed them to put together a run like they did in the big east tournament but i was scared of a game like they had against bradley. i still have three out of four in the atlanta sectional. my final four team is gone from the oakland sectional. all i have left from the washington sectional in connecticut....but i had them going to the final four so i'm still good there. in minneapolis i have villanova, bc and florida with bc going to the final four. well i'm still in the running but it looks shaky to me. leets hope i can hang on to the thin lead i have now.

monday , monday. cant trust that day.

Iran, your next...................

in speeches this week to justify staying in iraq president bush is blaming iran for insurgency and ied's that have been found. this doesnt bode well for iran. our president has a history of invading countries that dont roll over for him. now dont get me wrong, i think iran is a country that could use a good spanking but i think the rest of the world is getting a little tired of the us of a just attacking. i know someone is going to tell me that they dont care what the rest of the world thinks....but we better start. the world isnt as large anymore as once thought. we need a global economy for america to flourish and we need to have some civilized dialogue with the rest of the world. daddy bush was a little smarter regarding these matters. he got thew world together and agreeing on what needed to be done then we didnt look like the bad guys......which we a starting to do now.

on a lighter note, march madness is upon us. having filled out my bracket i am going head to head with the sales manager at work (hereto refered to as john). after one day i am leading ten to nine. the big east is screwing me heartily at this moment but thanks to uw-milwaukee i am holding a slim lead as of right now. a whole $5 is riding on this.

happy saint patricks day. remember everyone is irish today (except the jews). i kid , i kid.

The older brother effect..................

While biologists look at hormones for answers about human sexuality, other scientists are looking for patterns in statistics. And hard as this is to believe, they have found something they call "the older brother effect."
"The more older brothers a man has, the greater that man's chance of being gay," says Bailey.
Asked if that's true, Bailey says, "That is absolutely true."
If this comes as a shock to you, you’re not alone. But it turns out, it’s one of the most solid findings in this field, demonstrated in study after study.
And the numbers are significant: for every older brother a man has, his chances of being gay increase by one third. Older sisters make no difference, and there's no corresponding effect for lesbians. A first-born son has about a 2 percent chance of being gay, and the numbers rise from there. The theory is it happens in the womb.

this was stated on 60 minutes last sunday. i have a couple of problems with this. namely...ron, mark and scott. according to their calculations i am 100% gay. now anyone who really knows me knows that i am maybe....28% gay tops. i have a friend who has six older brothers and i'll bet hes suprised that hes 200% gay (the rest of us arent though). i guess the bottom line is look at your family and see how gay you are. i have three older brothers and i havent gone brokeback yet. if my brother scott reads this ...remember your 66% gay you fag. how am i going to break this to my wife? hell, how am i going to break this to myself? oh well, i guess i'll just go home today and be gay with my wife and kids.

almost the weekend. lets finish strong.

Pat robertson, intolerance at its finest.......

pat robertson is up to his old tricks. he proclaimed on his show that islam is not a religion of peace and that radical muslims are satanic. his comments came after he watched a news story on his christian broadcasting network about muslim protests im europe regarding the cartoons of muhammed. he said the the outpouring of of rage elicited by cartoons jusy shows the kind of people we are deling with.he said these people are crazed fanatics and he believed they are motivated by a demonic power. he said its satanic and its time we recognized what we are dealing with.

ok pat, lets look this over. first off he formulated his opinion after seeing a report on tv. his network in particular. i'm sure the christian broadcasting network would give the muslims a fair shake...right? thank god you saw that pat or you would never be able to make a decision. as for crazed fanatics that are motivated by demonic powers he should stick to what he knows best....christianity. what kind of person would call for the death of someone who says something he doesnt agree with. a muslim? well pat called for the murder of the president of venezuela. what kind of god would be lauded for giving a man a stroke. islam? well pat said the christian god punished the israeli prime minister with a stroke. anyone here see a problem with this. if muslims kill someone over their religion then they are crazed fanatics. if a christian does it hes just doing gods will. terrorists arent only in the mideast. abortion clinics and doctors now need protection. from who? christians. i guess you could call them terrorists but in america we refer to them as christians or martyrs or.....well, you get the drift. christians dont want to abort a fetus in the first trimester but have no problem aborting a doctor in the ...lets say.......120th trimester. think the press isnt biased...think again. now as anyone who reads this blog knows i dont agree with the muslims...but i dont agree with the christians either. actually i dont agree with any organized religion. they all spew hatred and intolerance wherever the flourish. the neo-nazis believe they are doing gods work too. if you have any questions why muslims dislike america then maybe this might answer a few of your questions.

hump day you bunch of crazy kids.

Alot can happen in 17 hours............

pennsylvania is an odd state....politically speaking. its odd in any number of ways actually but for the sake of this post we will stick to the politics. joe hoeffel was going to run for lt. governor. lt. governor is like an assistant to the governor or the vice president or for lack of a better example like the runner up in the miss america pageant. be ready in case something happens but in the mean time just stand around and look pretty. he announced he was going to run and then seventeen hours later he threw in the towel. why? maybe it was because he didnt have the cash flow to do it. no? maybe he didnt think he would have the support. no? it was because the governor told him to. the governor is from philly and so is hoeffel. the governor thought it wouldnt help him (meaning the governor) in the western part of the state if both men were from eastern pennsylvania. remember pennsylvania has philadelphia in the east, pittsburgh in the west and in between is arkansas. inbred hicks and farmers mostly. so this got me to thinking (which can be devastating) about whos the best man. shouldnt the best man be allowed to run regardless of where hes from? shouldnt the people of this peculiar state want the best man regardless of where hes from? is this election fixing? whatever happened to our parents and teachers telling us that anyone could be president when this man isnt being allowed to run from asst. governor because the party wont support him? our governor isnt very popular in pittsburgh right now because of slot machine gambling. the rights are up for grabs but the fix is in here in pittsburgh because of donations to his campaign and we will lose our hockey team because of it (not that the penguins are worth keeping this year anyway). the governor doesnt want to rock the boat in this part of the state any more than he has to. this might cost him his job as governor. to whom you might ask. fair question. to lynn swann. is lynn swann a man who has toiled for the public and understands how to get things done? no. then what are his qualifications? good question. hes a former steeler(as in football player) not like our governor who is a current stealer (i thought that was pretty witty kids). how does this qualify lynn as governor? it doesnt...but remember this is a peculiar state so how qualified do you need to be.

its only tuesday....but it seems like a second monday to me.

How does your city keep its streets clean..........

theres a small town outside of piitsburgh called ebensburg. when i say small town i mean like mayberry. 3100 people tops. this is really small town america. they got a big government grant and fixed up the downtown area. new brick crosswalks, old timey looking gas lights...the works. there is just one small problem. the small amish community drives their buggies through town. now dont get me wrong the people of ebensburg like having the amish around. its great for the farmers market and it reminds them of times gone past but its the horses they mind. seems those animals have no respect for the revitalized downtown and have a nasty habit of leaving some road apples around for the fine people of ebensburg. so what do we do to solve this problem? diapers. thats right kids ...diapers for the horses. alright, maybe this town lacks creativity. they probably havent had cable as long as you or i have. luckily enough the town fathers (and i'm sure a few mothers) decided against this plan. seems the people of ebensburg are tired of losing court cases to the amish. apparently the amish arent so far behind the times that they cant pick a good shyster lawyer when needed. the took the amish to court to make them put the large reflective triangles on their buggies..... and lost. whats safety when you have a time tested belief of having some of your people run over yearly. so with that in mind the diapers were defeated. not because it was a ridiculous idea (and make no mistake....it was) but because it would impinge on their religious beliefs. and that my friends is the story of how god, in defense of horse shit, defeated the hated diapers. read the book of shoes, chapter 5, verse 22.

go on now....theres nothing more to see here.

Can 102 irish priests be wrong..........

the roman catholic church controls alot of places. south america, pittsburgh, ireland. well things havent been going so well in ireland. the church in ireland admitted that 102 of its dublin priests ,past and present, are suspected of abusing children. this disclosure comes a week before the government convenes a probe into how church and state authorities conspired, by negligence and design, to cover up decades of child abuse within the dublin priesthood. since 2003 the archdiocese has been going over the records of 2800 priests who have worked in dublin since 1940. the conclusion: 102 are suspected of abusing children, 32 have been sued and 8 have been convicted of criminal charges. the archdiocese has already paid out over 7 million and the archbishop has said that they will need to sell of property to meet looming bills for 40 (again i say 40) unresolved lawsuits and claims from hundreds more. the government probe is reminiscent of a probe done in the diocese of fern where they found one priest who had molested a group of first communion girls on the altar......but was never punished.

well isnt it reassuring to know that it isnt just the catholic church in america that covers up the "unpleasantness". when you cater to men who decide they dont ever want sex again you are going to get some of these kind of men. its just not natural to not want sex. to sum it up i'm not mad at the church for having pedophiles. there are alot of pedophiles that arent priests running around out there. when you ask men to take a vow of chastity then guys who are off kilter are going to join your group because they think it will set them right. it wont. what is so heinous is the coverup. not only the coverup but moving these known pedophiles around so that they could molest a whole new group of kids every couple of years. the church to them was a kind of pedophile smorgasboard. for that act alone they deserve the huge lawsuits and it will be a happy day for me when they have to sell some church property. lets call it paying for your sins. of course they wont sell off property because the devout will ante up an even larger part of their income to the church. in essence they will pay for the sins of the church. all of which was done to save face for the church. isnt vanity a sin.

well i'm glad i could get you into youre weekend with such an uplifting story. start drinking now everyone.

Bill o'reilly "american gasbag"........

John Amato: O'Reilly sends FOX Security-threatens police action for mentioning Keith Olbermann's name

Many of you are aware of the feud between Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly. Keith has been highlighting distortions in Bill's arguments for months now and has honored O'Reilly with the "Worst Person of the Day" award several times. Finally-O'Reilly responded by sending a letter to NBC chairman Bob Wright saying:
"Therefore, in an effort to rescue MSNBC from the ratings basement and to restore the honor and dignity of Mr. Donahue, who was ignobly removed as host three years ago, we ask that you immediately bring Phil Donahue's show back at 8:00 PM EST before any more damage is done."

On his website he has a petition posted for his Factorette's to sign. Olbermann responded by signing the petition on-air along with some of his colleagues. O'Reilly, the narcissist that he is now won't let callers to his radio program even mention Keith's name without cutting them off and calling security. Here's a transcript of the call.:

O'REILLY: Orlando, Florida, Mike, go.

CALLER: Hey Bill, I appreciate you taking my call.

O'REILLY: Sure.

CALLER: I like to listen to you during the day, I think Keith Olbermann's show --

O'REILLY: There ya go, Mike is -- he's a gone guy. You know, we have his -- we have your phone numbers, by the way. So, if you're listening, Mike, we have your phone number, and we're going to turn it over to Fox security, and you'll be getting a little visit.

HILL: Maybe Mike is from the mothership.

O'REILLY: No, Maybe Mike is going to get into big trouble, because we're not going to play around. When you call us, ladies and gentleman, just so you know, we do have your phone number, and if you say anything untoward, obscene, or anything like that, Fox security then will contact your local authorities, and you will be held accountable. Fair?

HILL: That's fair.

O'REILLY: So, just -- all you guys who do this kind of a thing, you know, I know some shock jocks. Whatever. You will be held accountable. Believe it.

Soon after a few callers received phone messages from the head of security at FOX-threatening them:
"I got the call on the phone I used to call him from the head of Fox News security. He said that harassing phone calls were coming from my phone. I asked him how many? He did not know. I asked him what was said that was harassing? He said that he did not know but that it did not have to be what was said, but how many calls were being made. He tried to make like I made 20 phone calls instead of one, and that I cursed O'Reilly out. All I said was that I was grateful to O'Reilly for turning me on to Olbermann.
Then he hung up."

Bill is obviously losing it and trying to harass callers for disagreeing with him. Isn't that part of the job description of a talk show host? And why is FOX security calling people when Bill is broadcasting on Westwood One? I know there's a lot of screening that goes on, but trying to intimidate callers because they mention the name of someone you don't like is ludicrous. As Susan Filan, a former prosecutor said on Countdown last night-the one person that might have a legal problem is O'Reilly himself. I called the head of FOX security who has been contacting callers for comment, but he hasn't returned my call so far. Stay tuned. Maybe the falafel police will be knocking down my door because I dared to ask a few questions about O'Reilly cowardice.

(John Amato is the main man at Crooksandliars.com)

Billy O'Reilly is Looking For Callers to His Radio Show
Let's help him out, here is the number, 1-877-966-7746. Call from noon to 2pm EST. Ask him why he wants Keith Olbermann fired for low ratings when two conservatives on MSNBC (Joe Scarborough and Tucker Carlson) get lower ratings than Keith does. if you feel that billy is a douche bag then by all means call him. you dont have to listen, in fact i encourage you not to listen to him, but by all means please call and mention keith olberman. only call once...we dont want to harrass him.

ok, now get to work. lets finish this week strong kids.

Barry bonds uproar..............

well, seems like your friend and mine, barry bonds, is back in the news. a book is coming out that says it has substantiated proof that he did hard core steroids since 1998. hell thats not a revelation. i could have (and did) tell you this for some time now. actually this is all just heresay until you get a positive blood test or he admits it. dont get me wrong, i dont like barry at all. i pray every day for a debilitating knee injury that ends his career. barry says hes not going to read the book, which is all fine and well, but unless he comes out and sues or holds a huge press conference and refutes all of this his image is even further tarnished. his records wont and shouldnt be removed from the books but it just proves that he couldnt carry hank aarons jock. steroids wont make you hit the ball. its no suprise to anyone that he can hit. he always was a good hitter. that hand and eye coordination wont be enhanced by steroids. what will be is the length of fly balls. what would have went to the warning track is now over the wall. maybe twenty a year? please dont hit me with the bullshit that the steelers of the seventies were all doing steroids, that was before people knew the full ramifications of what doing this drug would do to your health later in life. i've also heard people say that kirk gibson was on painkillers when he hit the famous homerun in the series and that brett favre was on painkillers while setting records for continuous games played. those guys werent trying to enhance their performance, they were trying to get onto the field. its different. barry is going to tell you that its because of his being black that the press is out to get him. bullshit. the race card is tiresome. quit playing it. a fine example this week is kirby puckett. he was loved by the media, his fellow players and his fans..........and he was black. nobody would have a problem if kirby puckett would pass babe ruth and then aaron. hey barry, you want to see the problem? look in the mirror. you being an insufferable prick to everyone your whole life is catching up to you. does the press have a vendeta against you? maybe. but you cultivated it. keep poking the bear with a stick and ultimately its going to snap and then it will remove your tattoos by pulling your arms off. and if the book is to be believed its nice to see the chink in his armour. barry always plays it off like he doesnt care what others think but now we know better. his envy of mark mcgwire (i hope that spelling is correct) will lead to his downfall.

at a worst case scenerio barry will be the third leading homerun hitter of all time, a seven time mvp, perrenial all star and a hall of famer...........and a liar and a cheater. he will always be tainted.

Nfl = wtf.................

whats up football. are you trying to become baseball. the union and the owners turned americas passtime into a second rate sport that fights with hockey and basketball for ratings. football has a lock on americas attention right now but it looks like some greedy owners want to kill the goose who lays their golden eggs. for once in america the sport isnt being torn apart by the owner/player relations. this time its a civil war between millionaire and billionaire owners. the haves dont want to share with the have nots. somewhere wellington mara is spinning in his grave. he could have put a lock on football like the yankees have on baseball but instead he understood that the health of the game was most important. he decided that sharing revenue with green bay would benefit the game and thereby benefit him too. snyder (redskins) and jones (cowboys) dont get it. they have alot of cash that didnt come from football and are willing to blow it on players to buy a title. the owners were always able to squash the players union because of their solidarity but nothing benefits the players like the owners being seperated (just ask baseball players). the players vs owners is just an interesting sidelight to all of this. the players want a bigger cut of the pie (dont they always) and the owners dont want to give it to them (dont they always). i could argue this either way. the owners take all the risk with stadiums and equipment and insurance and etc...... but the payers are the game. did anyone watch the super bowl this year because of the rooneys? i didnt. i do think the players should get bigger cuts because the biggest expense for an owner is paid for by the taxpayer....stadiums. football better get its shit together or they will be lumped with baseball very soon.

you read my rant now back to work.

Oscar talk.............

ok, i admit it. i watched the oscars last night. i was really only watching to see jon stewart host but i must admit (and god help me for telling you this) i liked the show. i thought it was done well. now i must admit that i didnt see any of the movies that were nominated (none of them having an animated dinosaur in them) but i was pulling for brokeback mountain to win. i'm not sure why. maybe it was because it would piss off most of the red states. maybe it was because it was something completely different. maybe it was because of all the press. hell, i dont know. i did think that E had a pretty funny thing before the show when they said they were going to interview a group from middle america (some place in kansas that is in the geographical center of the u.s.). it turns out that the group was a bunch of old women. i mean old kids. it looked like late 60's to 80's. they were all willing to badmouth brokeback mountain though none had actually seen the movie. isnt that typical. even though none of those hags vote it didnt help brokeback at all. it still got upset by crash. i also never agree with the critics off the womens dresses. looking in the burgs little podunk paperi see their list of good and bad. ok, i'm a guy. maybe i'm looking at other things but i know what works for me and what doesnt. what works.....jessica alba in her halter dress looked hot though shes anorexic like everyone else in hollywood. i thought sandra bullock looked good (even though the paper didnt). on the other hand the paper loved keira knightley and charlize theron. to me its more than just the dress. i dont understand how kiera knightley is ever considered attractive. shes pale as a ghost, her hair looked like shit, shes anorexic and has no breasts. now dont get me wrong, everyone doesnt need huge breasts but she has less than me. to me she looks like a meth addict that someone slapped a gown on. charlize (who i really think is hot) was wearing a dress that i didnt get. it had a huge bow on her shoulder. i mean huge...the bow was bigger than her head. salma hayek (who i think is smokin hot) had on a weird dress. it really showed off her funbags but the one strap that went to her shoulder made her look like she had one and one half huge breasts. as for the men......who cares. wear a tux and you really cant go wrong. well thats my half assed look at the oscars. i'm glad clooney and reese witherspoon won. i'm sorry joaquin phoenix didnt win only because hes really unstable mentally and his speech might have been memorable.

well enough is enough. lets get the week rolling along.

Mind your own business...............

read this quote:

"You start with Harry Potter, who comes across as a likeable wizard, but you end up with the Devil. There is no doubt that the signature of the Prince of Darkness is clearly within these books. By reading Harry Potter a young child will be drawn into magic and from there it is a simple step to Satanism and the Devil."

- The Roman Catholic Church's chief exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth

wow, do you think the church is starting to see their grip loosening on kids. i mean if its not harry potter then its the davinci code or rock and roll....etc. of course after seeing david copperfield get a supermodel maybe that whole thing about magic and satanism has some credence after all. is it just me or anything that doesnt scream "go jesus" is just evil in the churches eyes. maybe, just maybe, they should worry more about the child raping priests or the fact that the russians were trying to knock off the pope years ago. i think what bothers the catholic church is that as the civilised world starts actually thinking about organized religion and is less inclined to fall under its spell the church aims its sights at the third world. south america, africa...those are the new markets. take some uneducated, poor people and fleece them of what little they have. sounds like the recipe for success.

friday everyone. crack a beer and celebrate.

Port of call, terroristtown...................

ok, so we almost had the ports of america given to the same countries that brought us the men who flew into the world trade center. our president tried to sneak that one by us but alas the whistle was blown. i like how his press secretary said that the president didnt even know of the deal. that he heard about it from the media. its nice to know our president is staying up on world politics by watching the news. no need for those pesky meetings with his experts when abc will hook you up with everything in an hour. does anyone actually believe this? anyone? no? ok. you know hes pissed because if this doesnt go through he, his family and friends will have to give back the blood money from the dubai government. dubai , being such a fair country, has all packages checked at their ports. i mean all packages...every shipment. why you ask. so that no product from israel enters their country. could you see america turning away everything from say...china? or germany? and these are the people we are going to turn our porrts over to. i thought israel was our friend in the mid-east. oh thats right, bush is from texas and oil is the only thing that matters.........and israel has no oil. sorry israel, you lose.

along that same line, is anyone shocked that tapes show that the president knew about katrina before it all went down? anyone? ok, i guess you can lump new orleans in with israel. no oil....no help. sorry guys. bush and his friends are the biggest profiteers in the world today. i know that it was easy to put down kanye west when he said bush doesnt care about black people as being simplistic but maybe, just maybe, he wasnt that far off. its getting harder and harder to spin the bullshit coming out of washington. i always felt the award for having the largest set of balls when telling a lie should go to clinton when he said he smoked dope but didnt inhale but dubya is quickly trying to catch him. listening to things that come out of washington is not unlike being alice and going through the looking glass and then being told she had to believe twelve unbelievable things every day.

quit shaking your heads. you right wingers arent going to able to spin this and everyone else is just getting dizzy. back to work.

Civil war, 21st century edition.....

anyone still think the war in iraq is going well? anyone? i'll bet our president does. of course he may only be finding out about like he did the port scandal...by watching the news. this is an all out civil war and there is nothing america can do to stop it. we dont have enough soldiers over there to lock down the entire country. can you say quagmire? i knew you could. i wonder if most of those people think saddam was such a bad guy now. this war is spiraling out of control and i know that there is no plan in place for getting us out of this mess anytime soon. as much as america hates to admit it its time to call the u.n. and ask for help. i know that will cut down on profit to halliburton and the bush family and friends but really, havent they profited enough off the blood of our soldiers. i think its high time to suit up the bush girls and send them off to fight for our country. every seator or congressman who is all for this war should have their children sent over and put in a combat unit immediately. i think the attitude would change pretty quickly. please dont tell me i dont support our troops. thats bullshit. nobody supports the troops as well as i do. i think they should have the proper equipment, i think more countries should be in there helping us....etc. i just dont have the rose colored glasses on.

well our president is running off to asia so its up to us to keep the country going. please work harder.
