Revisit perhaps..............

German-born Pope Benedict, head of the world's largest church, asked on Sunday where God was when 1.5 million people, mostly Jews, died at the former Nazi death camp at Auschwitz
"In a place like this, words fail. In the end, there can only be a dread silence - a silence which is itself a heartfelt cry to God: Why, Lord, did you remain silent? How could you tolerate all this?" he said in a speech delivered in Italian.

ok, heres my question....why was the pope there? did he not punch out from his last shift? do they owe him back pay? ok, maybe thats not as funny as it first seems but what do you expect from a church that hides pedophiles. so they made a former nazi the pope.....whats the big deal? the church turned their backs on the holocaust in the first place. they knew it was happening but with the outcome of the war in question and them being headquartered in europe and with the germans wiping out the competition...........well, to them thats just good business. he has alot of balls going back their like that. what an insult to any thinking human.

welcome to wednesday everyone. lets just get through the week.

I'll tell you whats too short.................

SIDNEY, Neb. - A judge said a 5-foot-1 man convicted of sexually assaulting a child was too small to survive in prison, and gave him 10 years of probation instead.
His crimes deserved a long sentence, District Judge Kristine Cecava said, but she worried that Richard W. Thompson, 50, would be especially imperiled by prison dangers.
"You are a sex offender, and you did it to a child," she said.
But, she said, "That doesn't make you a hunter. You do not fit in that category."
Thompson will be electronically monitored the first four months of his probation, and he was told to never be alone with someone under age 18 or date or live with a woman whose children were under 18. Cecava also ordered Thompson to get rid of his pornography
He faces 30 days of jail each year of his probation unless he follows its conditions closely.
"I want control of you until I know you have integrated change into your life," the judge told Thompson. "I truly hope that my bet on you being OK out in society is not misplaced."

if this judge truly wants control of this guy until shes sure he integrated change into his life then he should move in with her and her family or at the very least next door. she could control and protect him because hes such a little guy. this is one of the worst cases of judicial misconduct ever. if i was the father of a child this guy molested then he wouldnt live long on the outside either. he would actually be safer in prison than with me hunting him. hey, the little guy abused the only people smaller than him....why protect him. let him find out how those kids felt. i hope if this broad comes up for a vote that the people of that area vote her out so she can get on with her lifes work. i could come up with many ways for justice to be served in this case and it includes both this tiny little guy and the judge.

happy tuesday everyone. hope your holiday went well.

Fair and balanced........yeah right..................

Exxon-Backed Pundit Compares Gore To Nazi Propagandist
Sterling Burnett is a senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, an organization that has received over $390,000 from ExxonMobil since 1998. This afternoon on Fox, Burnett compared watching Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, to watching a movie by Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels to learn about Nazi Germany
ExxonMobil doesn’t have a substantive answer to Gore’s movie, so it bankrolls people like Burnett to smear Gore personally.
Dutifully, Burnett recently wrote an editorial defending former Exxon CEO Lee Raymond’s lavish compensation (which amounted to $190,000 a day in 2005). He failed to mention his financial connection to the company.

Transcript:
That’s the problem. If I thought Al Gore’s movie was as you like to say, fair and balanced, I’d say, everyone should go see it. But why go see propaganda? You don’t go see Joseph Goebbels’ films to see the truth about Nazi Germany. You don’t go see Al Gore’s films to see the truth about global warming.

fox news, being an arm of the bush white house, has no where to go but here. they have to push the administrations agenda. i love how they compare him to goebbels. why wont someone compare me to goebbels? what do i have to do? who havent i offended? oh well, theres no use crying over it. i think we can put the myth of fair and balanced to rest now....right? wheres mythbusters when you need it? if you dont go to see al gores film to learn about global warming then where should we go? do i expect this administration (the ones who rolled back all the environmental laws that clinton put in, the ones who would love to drill in the arctic reserve...etc. etc) to give me the truth. something like 8 of the 10 hottest years ever recorded have happened in the last ten years. this is fact. tell us why. if it isnt global warming from all the fossil fuels then tell us what it is. when al gore tells it as he sees it they dont go after his facts the attack him personally. that shows you that he just might be hitting close to home. for you right wingers that think i'm going after republicans lets me state for the record that democrats havent had a sterling record on the environment (though no record is worse than that of bush sr. and dubya......ever). thats a fact too.

oh well, the weekend is here. hope you have nice weather wherever you roam. drink well, drive safe and bac, i'll see you saturday.

Fox news....liars? no shit...........

bill o'reilly reported that a young girl in kentucky got a scholarship from the aclu because she did not stand for the pledge of allegiance. i'm sure this fired up the right wing idiots who watch this show but alas.......its not true. the worst part is that bill knows its not real and he still reports it. Beth Wilson, who runs the Kentucky ACLU, dismissed O'Reilly's version as "a blatant lie." She should know. Her group nominated Shannon for the $4,000 award, which the Central High School honor student will use for expenses at Berea College, beginning next fall.
In naming Shannon one of nine national winners, the ACLU said she "was instrumental in starting a student ACLU chapter at her school and serves as its president. She and her fellow students have tackled a range of civil liberties issues, including the requirement to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, the confiscation of certain books and the right to form a Gay-Straight Alliance." Wilson said Shannon "is getting a scholarship for attempting to protect the rights of students, for starting an ACLU chapter and for taking a leading role in holding a youth rights leadership conference." She adds, "Whether Shannon stands for the pledge or not I don't even know, but she certainly stands for the right of students to make that decision for themselves." Shannon's father, Virgil Baldon, who works in TV production, said he wasn't surprised, "because I know what Fox's bent is," but he added that he's disappointed that "they would use a high school student, particularly my daughter, in this way." "She stands" for the pledge to the flag, her father insisted, adding, "I'm an Air Force veteran, and I stand."
What she and others have explored is whether teachers should make students stand, if they choose not to. That and other concerns were discussed at community-wide ACLU-sponsored student roundtables, which Shannon helped to organize. Recognized this week as a salutatorian at Central's senior honors ceremony, she also won an award for excellence in social studies and a medallion for a research paper from her law and government teacher. A National Honor Society member, she works on the yearbook. She was a debater during sophomore and junior years and a quick recall competitor during her junior and senior years.
She also works, and is mentored, 10 hours each week at the Phillips Parker Orberson & Moore law firm. She exemplifies the kind of hard work and personal responsibility that conservative talk-meisters usually applaud.

congratulations to bill. he tried to make a high school girl, a national honor society member, and make her look like a communist. this all just proves what a piece of shit bill o'reilly and fox news in geneeral really is. if this is where you get your news then shame on you. as i have said before....fair and balanced, my ass.

its thursday, i'm limping into the weekend. lets hope it gets here quick

The da vinci code blues...............

well the davinci code is really setting the world on fire. regardless of bad reviews it has the biggest opening since jenna jameson.......ok that was a bad joke......since the passion of the christ. now the catholics picketed theatres showing the da vinci code but i dont remember muslims or hindus or atheists picketing theatres showing the passion of the christ. actually i think the catholics helped this movie get such a big opening. you cant buy this kind of publicity.

hey maybe the church can go after someone new.........well, not new but different. madonna. she enters her concert on a cross and wears a crown of thorns. oh my! what will we do? in reality, does anyone really care? shes not shocking anymore. oh, maybe she was back in the day....you know, before the internet. now if i want to be shocked i can look up a site that features a dog raping a nun while she wears a cheerleaders outfit and is covered in astroglide. besides, i thought madonna was so cutting edge. that crown of thorns is so 2000 years ago....really.

so with all that in mind i'm hoping to see the movie soon. everyone who i have spoken to who has seen it has said its very good. i liked the book so i cant imagine that i wont like the movie.

alright kids, its wednesday. the only thing thats keeping me going is that its a three day weekend.

Robertson: God says storms, possibly tsunami, will hit US in 2006
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says God told him storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.
Robertson has made the predictions at least four times in the past two weeks on his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded. Robertson said the revelations about this year's weather came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. Wednesday, he added, "there well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."
Robertson has come under intense criticism in recent months for comments suggesting that American agents should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for Israel's pullout from the Gaza Strip.

way to go out on a limb pat. if you heard god right? what wasnt god talking to you last year? were you two fighting? i find it hard to believe that there are rubes in this country who will send this idiot money. these must be the same people who send money to huys in ethiopia so that they can get their millions out of the country and then come share it with them. i understand that god also told pat that....

1. its going to be warm this summer
2. the pirates wont win the world series
3. the leaves will change color in the fall
4. on a sunday in late january many people will watch a football game
5. the mormons will all be going to hell

there were more predictions from god but most of those were obvious so i didnt print them. you can put pat on the "no shit" list now. the question begs to be asked that if god really cares about us why wouldnt he tell someone who could make a difference? why wouldnt he tell us when and where so we could get people out of harms way? like the aliens who always pick up some drunk hick whos fishing in the bayou at midnight, god has told pat robertson. it doesnt make good sense. thats the kind of story that puts doubt on the almighty. the universe isnt run very efficiently if you ask me.

happy tuesday everyone. enjoy it.

Mothers day ? not here.............

Instead of a gift, flowers or even a card, two Jersey City teens gave their mom a beating on Mother's Day, according to Jersey City police.
The 14-and 15-year-old brothers were arrested for simple assault Sunday after sending their mother to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment of cuts and bruises, Sgt. Edgar Martinez said.
The 31-year-old Van Horne Street mom said her sons attacked her about 11 a.m. because she refused to give them cash to buy expensive clothes, Martinez said.
"They didn't even say 'Happy Mother's Day' that morning," she said sadly.
"We were sitting there watching TV and they started asking me for $100 sneakers, jeans," she said inside her apartment yesterday. "When I said no, they started cursing me, telling me they hated me. Then they 'mushed' me into that wall."
The boys then punched and kicked her, chasing her and continuing the attack even after she fled into the hallway, she said. The beating stopped when a concerned neighbor called police and the boys fled.
Later that afternoon, they came back to the apartment and tried to kick down the apartment door. Police then arrived and arrested them, taking them to the Hudson County Youth House in Secaucus.
She said police offered to release the boys and return them to her custody, but she refused to take them in, saying she has to protect her 5-year-old son from them.
"I'm too scared for my baby," she said. "They're my kids, why did they hit me? I tried to buy them nice things, Nike, Timberlands, but I'm a single mother."
The mom said her oldest son, a freshman at Lincoln High School, punched her in the mouth a month ago and gave her a black eye after another argument over expensive clothing.

She said the father of all three boys is in prison for aggravated assault for beating her, as well as drug charges.
The teens are now staying with their father's sister, who said she hopes to take custody of them.
"They didn't punch her, they just pushed her," the aunt said. "She didn't give them anything. They didn't have their own TV, nice clothes."

wow, there is so much wrong in this story that not saying "happy mothers day" is the least of the problems.
1. shes 31 with a 15, 14 and 5 year olds. apparently her legs will not shut under any circumstances. she got knocked up at 16, squeezed out another at 17 and ten years later still hadnt wised up.
2. her two thugs.....er....i mean kids beat her up because she didnt give them money for expensive jeans and tennis shoes. i smell future welfare recipients who will then get mad at the government for not giving them enough.
3. she wouldnt take them back. this might be the first smart thing she has ever done in her entire life. i wouldnt take those little thugs.....er, kids back either.
4. the oldest one beat her up a month ago. wanna bet she didnt file a police report then. shes not as smart as i give her credit for in number 3.
5. dads in jail? who'd have guessed. i guess i can log this little fact into the "no shit" category. the scumbag doesnt fall far from the tree there now does it.
6. in what may be the worst thing of all the aunt backs the kids because they never got their own tv. well maybe if her low rent brother didnt get himself thrown in prison he could have given the mother some cash to get them some things but alas it seems its moms fault here. based on that theory i should have killed my dad.

this is a classic example of why birth control and abortions are a good thing. these kids will be in prison for hurting someone badly one day....mark my words. whos fault is it? well alot of people have their hands in that one. these lives can only end poorly.

well its friday. enjoy your weekend and i hope your next mothers day goes better than hers did.

Deflect and spin.........

anyone who watched the president speak should ask for a half hour of their lives back. i watched this on fox. i wanted to see how an extension of the white house sees it. i knew what was coming. immigration, illegal aliens....etc. why has this come up now. illegal aliens have been flowing into this country for years. well when your approval rating has hit rock bottom, your war is going south, it comes out that your tapping every phone in north america, everyone in your party is being indicted for something........well......you can see why we need to deflect it. the answer to all those problems doesnt lie with our president it lies with the satanic aliens. they are the ones causing all this trouble.cant we just put them in camps? it worked so well with the asians and the jews. cant fix the problem? blame someone...and who better than people who dont have a voice. most illegals are staying under the radar. they arent causing trouble. they dont want to be sent back to whatever hellhole they came from. it might take them days to get back in and they might lose there jobs trimming our bushes and cleaning our pools and watching our children. some reports i've read are saying that even the hard line right wingers think this is a weak plan and was totally transparent but fox said this will surely raise his approval rating. if bush blotted out the sun fox would tell you its to stop global warming. fair and balanced ...my ass.

almost the weekend kids, you can make it.

Elections in allegheny county..........

ok, so today is primary election day. allegheny county had a big todo over new voting machines. the ones we used for years suddenly were not good enough anymore. taking a running leap into the mid nineties allegheny county got some computer voting machines. i think they were used. everybody was up in arms over this because there was nothing wrong with the old machines, the senior citizens dont like change , senior citizens dont like computers, they can be hacked....etc. if i spoke in generalizations about seniors and it offends you......too bad. well, suprise suprise, the machine wasnt working when i went to vote this morning and now i'm relegated to filling out a paper ballot. good thing we spent a bundle on the used machines.

i was given a list of democrats that were approved by the allegheny county democratic committee. of course most were running unopposed because in allegheny county once the democratic committee picks you there is no chance of debate or choice or anything else that is in the least democratic. anyways, i want the democrat for unites states senator to beat out rick santorum in november but there is a strong possibility that i will vote republican for governor. ed rendell has lined his pockets with harrahs money and we wont get a free casino in pittsburgh. dont get me wrong we will get a casino but it will take tax money. we were offered a free casino but apparently they didnt line the right pockets. i looked over the 2006 allegheny county democratic primary campaign committee. it reads like this

dan onorato - honorary co-chair
bob o'connor - honorary co-chair
jay costa - chair
twanda carlisle - vice chair
etc.

onorato is the county commisioner and o'connor is the mayor of pittsburgh. both are lining their pockets with harrahs money too. they wont come out and say that harrahs isnt the best plan because it doesnt give us a free casino. instead we get plan b which uses tax money. twanda carlisle is a city councilwoman. shes being looked into because even though the city is bankrupt shes given 30k to the guy who lives with her mother so he can do a report on the city. he copied other reports verbatim and turned that in as his report. these are the pieces of shit that allegheny county democrats count as their best. it pails though compared to the vice chair of the democratic county democratic committee. ben woods. hes spent time in jail and had to resign his job in city government and instead of letting him get on with his lifes work the democrats give him a cushy job. is it any wonder that this city and county are in such a bad way. its why my advice to any young people graduating from college is to get the hell out of pennsylvania. anywhere but this state.

happy election day. get out and vote.

To the people of beaver county...........

your wake up call is here. heres your chance to show the lawmakers they cant steal from you. see heres the story (i'll leave it to wikipedia because its way more concise than i am).

On July 7, 2005, the General Assembly passed pay increases for state lawmakers, judges, and top executive-branch officials. The raise increased legislators' base pay from 16% to 34% depending on position. The vote took place in the early morning without public review or commentary and Governor Rendell quickly signed the bill.
Opposition sprung up almost immediately with several concerns:

Many residents viewed the raise as exorbitant, especially when taking into account the pension, transportation and other perks the officials already enjoy.
Some took exception to the closed nature of the vote; held in the early morning hours when very few people were watching.
Others took exception to the fact that most state employees were not included in the raise. The legislation only affected legislators, judges, and district attorneys.
The most contentious point of the raise is that part of the new law enabled legislators to receive their salary increase immediately as "unvouchered expenses". This was viewed by many as unconstitutional, although state courts have ruled similar legislation to be constitutional three previous times. According to Article II, Section 8 of the PA Constitution: "The members of the General Assembly shall receive such salary and mileage for regular and special sessions as shall be fixed by law, and no other compensation whatever, whether for service upon committee or otherwise. No member of either House shall during the term for which he may have been elected, receive any increase of salary, or mileage, under any law passed during such term."
The raise spawned several grass-roots movements, some geared toward voting out incumbents [2] and some seeking support for measures like reduction of the legislature, legal action or a Constitutional Convention. [3] [4].

The pay raise claimed its first victim on Election Day 2005 when Supreme Court Justice Russell Nigro was voted out of office becoming the first Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice to be denied retention. Justice Sandra Schultz Newman was retained, by a small margin compared to prior retention elections. Many observers complained that neither justice had taken an active part in the pay raise. However, critics noted that Chief Justice Ralph Cappy helped the legislature draft the bill and that prior Supreme Court decisions upheld practices such as unvouchered expenses.

On November 16, 2005, Governor Rendell signed a repeal of the pay raise after a near unanimous vote for repeal.

ok, thats the story. you would think that its all sewed up but alas, it isnt. some legislators took the money immediately. most returned it. mike veon did not. hes the majority whip in the pa house of representitives. he voted for the raise and was one of the few who voted not to rescind it (thats why it was a near unanimous vote). mike wont give the money back. he stole it. he doesnt care. his opponent does though and is making it an issue in this election. mike veon has spent over 500k in this primary election to keep his cushy job. his opponent is against voting in the middle of the night for a pay raise. he also wants to cut the number of legislators in the state.

ok beaver county, its time to stand up. time to show your not just pushovers for mike veon. sure hes powerful in the state but what has he really done for you. look around, are you living great. are new jobs coming to your area to make young people stay? are your taxes down? mike veon is a goddamn thief and should be in jail....not in the pa house of representitives.

if you plan on watching our president tonight make sure your wearing your asbestos underwear. this immigration hoopla is a smokescreen to take our eyes off of the war thats going badly in iraq. you'll get enough smoke blown up your ass tonight to make you feel like a chimney.

well, its monday. what else is there to say.

he didnt see that coming?............

Police say a self-proclaimed psychic charged with tax evasion is now accused of forcing his way into a motel and attacking his wife and a man she was staying with.
David Marius Guardino of Caryville had been allowed to remain free pending trial in federal court on the tax evasion charges.
Now a petition to revoke his pretrial freedom has been filed following the alleged April 27th incident with his wife.
Wendy Guardino alleges the psychic and two of his friends forced their way into a hotel room and attacked her.
Guardino is scheduled for a hearing in Anderson County General Sessions Court this week in connection with the burglary and domestic violence charges.

what kind of half assed psychic is this guy. there seems to be two kinds of psychics in the world right now. the ones who go on tv on january 1st and give out two thousand predictions hoping they may get lucky with one and the ones like this guy who just plain suck. wheres jean dixson when you need her. she parlayed nothing into a semi shitty career guessing at stuff. she was the enquirers main story for years. i guess while this guy was busy seeing into the future his wife was seeing someone else. just to prove how screwed up the judicial system is a psychic in california won a huge court settlement because she got a cat scan and said it cost her her psychic ability. why did she get the cat scan? she had to see that this would happen. i need to be on that jury.

alright its friday. i have to go now and see if the nsa is tapping my phones. how bored would that agent be.

And like a good neighbor.......

state farm is there. yeah thats how their ads go. you gotta like that jingle dont you? even if it is a lie. actually state farm is like a neighbor. one who uses your lawn mower and keeps it, borrows money from you and never repays it then when you ask for help moving your furniture from your garage to around your pool hes too busy. oh sure he'll use your pool and come to the cookouts but he wont help you. in that respect state farm is just like a neighbor. seems the katrina victims are sueing state farm because instead of sending there disaster relief team that you see in commercials they just made a blanket statement that all katrina victims where the victims of a storm surge....not high wind. this was based on an engineering company that was hired by state farm to do the report. it doesnt seem like much but it allows state farm to weasel out of paying for homes because while high wind is a reason to pay out high water isnt. storm surge = good for state farm. high wind = bad for state farm. get it now. so those people who paid their premiums for years are just....hmmmm whats the phrase i'm looking for......oh yeah, just shit outa luck. if those people were smart they would just put it to state farm by not using them for anything insurance related....homeowners, business, renters, auto, life etc. hit them in the wallet and teach them a lesson. i hope state farm goes belly up over this because of some unbelievably large lawsuit. if you dont want to cover for water damage them dont insure homes near the water. its really that simple. if your willing to insure near water (and take the premiums) then you going to have to pay for water damage. seems only logical to me.

the weather here this weekend is going to hell so enjoy your thursday.

And we let these people vote in elections?......

TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansas may have seen the last of its child brides. After a pregnant 14-year-old from Nebraska drove to Kansas last year to marry her 22-year-old boyfriend, now serving time for having sex with the minor, Kansas lawmakers decided it was time the set a minimum marriage age.
On Thursday, the Kansas House vote 119-0 to approve a bill that would prohibit anyone under the age of 15 from marrying in Kansas and would set strict limits for would-be brides or grooms under the age of 18. The Senate approved it a day earlier, 36-4.
Under the legislation, requested by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, a 15-year-old could marry only if a district court judge decided it was in that person's best interest.
Those who are 16 or 17 could marry if they met one of three conditions: permission from a parent or legal guardian and judicial consent; permission from both parents and any legal guardian; or permission from judge if the parents are dead and there is no legal guardian.
Currently, Kansas has no minimum age for marriage if the minor has parental or judicial approval.
In the case of the Nebraska girl - a person must be at least 17 to marry in that state - the girl's mother gave permission for the couple to get married in Kansas last spring after learning that her daughter was pregnant. The couple's daughter was born a few months later, in August.
The groom, Matthew Koso, was charged with sexual assault and sentenced in February to 18 to 30 months in prison for impregnating the girl.
Last month, Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue set 16 as that state's minimum marriage age after a 37-year-old woman married a 15-year-old boy, a friend of her teenage son. Lisa Lynnette Clark pleaded guilty in March to statutory rape and was sentenced to nine months in prison.

i know its tiring labeling everyone either republican or democrats, liberal or conservative, red state or blue state......but i'm going to anyway. lets be honest if you took a map and looked at the red states and the blue states you would see that most of the colleges are in the blue states. i'm willing to bet that the average IQ might be a little higher there too. this story tends to prove that out. thank gods those hicks wont allow a girl under 15 to marry bit heres a little hint.....how about not letting them marry until they are 18. you sahouldnt be allowed to marry until you can at least drink in a bar or die in a war. look at every state mentioned (kansas, nebraska, georgia....etc) they are all red states. oh and thank god a 15 year old can only marry if its deemed in their best interest. who the hell thinks marriage is in the best interest of any 15 year old? if marriage is in their best interest i really want to see whats in there worst interest. how bad does life on the farm or in the trailer have to be for that to be in their best interest? this isnt like the 1800's where you need to marry young and have lots of kids to work the fields. where 14 was middle age. we have illegal aliens to do that work now. thank god these drunken hicks picked our president.

happy hump day everyone (not so fast you 14 year olds in kansas)

The catholic church must have a stake in the da vinci code...........

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - In the latest Vatican broadside against "The Da Vinci Code", a leading cardinal says Christians should respond to the book and film with legal action because both offend Christ and the Church he founded.
Cardinal Francis Arinze, a Nigerian who was considered a candidate for pope last year, made his strong comments in a documentary called "The Da Vinci Code-A Masterful Deception."
Arinze's appeal came some 10 days after another Vatican cardinal called for a boycott of the film. Both cardinals asserted that other religions would never stand for offences against their beliefs and that Christians should get tough.
"Christians must not just sit back and say it is enough for us to forgive and to forget," Arinze said in the documentary made by Rome film maker Mario Biasetti for Rome Reports, a Catholic film agency specializing in religious affairs.
"Sometimes it is our duty to do something practical. So it is not I who will tell all Christians what to do but some know legal means which can be taken in order to get the other person to respect the rights of others," Arinze said.
"This is one of the fundamental human rights: that we should be respected, our religious beliefs respected, and our founder Jesus Christ respected," he said, without elaborating on what legal means he had in mind.
A transcript of the documentary, due to be screened in Rome later this month just before the release of the film version of the best-selling book at the Cannes Film Festival, was made available to Reuters.
The book, written by Dan Brown, has sold more than 40 million copies. Continued...

The novel is an international murder mystery centered on attempts to uncover a secret about the life of Christ that a clandestine society has tried to protect for centuries.
The central tenet of the book is that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had children.
BLASPHEMY
"Those who blaspheme Christ and get away with it are exploiting the Christian readiness to forgive and to love even those who insult us. There are some other religions which if you insult their founder they will not be just talking. They will make it painfully clear to you," Arinze said.
This appeared to be a reference to protests by Muslims around the world over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad.
Last month, another broadside against "The Da Vinci Code" was launched by Archbishop Angelo Amato, the number two official in the Vatican doctrinal office which was headed by Pope Benedict until his election last year.
Amato urged a boycott of the film and Arinze, like his fellow cardinal, also blasted the credibility of the book.
"'The Da Vinci Code' presents (Christianity) wrongly ... any film produced on the basis of that book is already in error from the word go, no matter how interesting it might appear," Arinze said.
Catholic group Opus Dei has told Sony Pictures that putting a disclaimer on the movie stressing it is a work of fiction would be a welcome show of respect toward the Church. Continued...
In the novel and film, Opus Dei is characterized as the latest in a series of secretive groups that worked over the centuries to obscure truths about Jesus Christ.
Opus Dei is a controversial conservative Church group whose members are mostly non-clerics and are urged to seek holiness in their everyday professional jobs and lives. It has rejected criticisms that it is secretive and elitist.
The movie, which is being released by Sony Pictures division Columbia Pictures, stars Tom Hanks. Sony Pictures is the media wing of Japanese electronics giant Sony Corp.

ok, anyone see the problem here. christians are going to take a page out of the muslim book and protest anything that offends them. a fundamental human right? who you kiddin. freedom of speech is a fundamental right not protecting your book of fiction. go ahead catholics and get litigious. it sounds like liturgical so it must be a good idea and it will take your minds off of the fact that the church is sued weekly because of the pedophiles. "Christians must not just sit back and say it is enough for us to forgive and to forget"? isnt that a tenent of the religion. talk about mixed signals. i also will mention that the producers of this movie thank the catholic church for all of the free advertising. you cant buy this kind of publicity.

remember kids, this is a book of fiction....or its supposed to be. methinks the church doth protest too much. this must strike close to home with them. when does all this hoopla over a book of fiction end? when are the wiccans going to sue the makers of harry potter? when are the vietnam vets going to sue clint eastwood for making that piece of shit heartbreak ridge? you see my point. if you dont agree with the movie then dont go see it. hit them in the wallets. you arent going to stop the movie from coming out....no matter what. offensive? if a movie can offend your religion then maybe it needs to be offended. maybe you need a little wake up . this movie presents christianity wrongly? maybe a movie about pedophile priests would represent them better. the pendulum swings both ways people. be careful what you sue for....you may just get it. Said the Pope, "This is outrageous. Back when I was a child learning how to gas homosexuals and tattoo Jews, I never could have imagined such a blasphemous film. Does anyone remember that? I was almost a Nazi". stick to the fiction .....its really better sounding than the facts.

get on with your tuesday kids.

Never take a doughnut from a cop...........

PHOENIX -- An armed man hijacked a Krispy Kreme delivery truck and led police on a chase across the city and into a shopping center, where officers shot and killed him after he took a 76-year-old man hostage.
The hostage was treated for injuries caused by police bullet fragments.
The pursuit started early Sunday in Peoria, on the west side of Phoenix, where an officer confronted the man for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, said Peoria police spokesman Mike Tellef.
The man pointed a gun at the officer, tried unsuccessfully to take another vehicle from customers and employees at a convenience store, then forced two Krispy Kreme employees to give him their delivery truck, Tellef said.
Officers pursued the truck across northern Phoenix to Scottsdale, where police spikes flattened three of the truck's tires.
The gunman forced his way into a closed Safeway store and took employee Patrick Corbett, 76, hostage, said Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark.
As he held a gun to Corbett's head and attempted to leave the store, a police officer shot the man in the back of the head, Clark said.
Corbett was hospitalized in stable condition, authorities said.
Police did not immediately release the gunman's identification.

how gooned up on drugs are you that you would steal a krispy kreme truck? if your going to get beat up and shot you might as well steal something that has some worth to anyone besides cops and fat people. what if he had got away with it? next he'd be out looking to steal a coffee truck.

A SYDNEY man has been charged with assault after an alleged intruder was bashed repeatedly with a baseball bat.
Police said the 37-year-old was at his Herakles Street home, at Doonside in Sydney's west, about 8.30pm (AEST) yesterday when a man broke in.
The intruder, aged 38, allegedly used a piece of wood to force his way in by knocking the door off its hinges.
Police said a scuffle broke out before the resident allegedly hit the intruder in the head with the bat and continued to beat him after he had fallen to the ground.
The alleged intruder was airlifted to Westmead Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
The resident has been charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and will face Blacktown Local Court today.

bring him before me for judgement. the homeowners only crime was that he let the intruder live. heres a tip for the rest of you. beat the intruder to death and then place one of your kitchen knives in his hand. be very careful to use a towel or gloves to handle the knife because you dont want your prints on it. when the cops asked you what happened you say he attacked you. if they dont believe you then they can ask the intruder. oh hes dead, then i guess my story stands.

this is post number 300 kids so enjoy your monday, this is a life changing expirence.

And the karma wheel spins again.........

April 25, 2006 - A Sumter man was found in critical condition after officials say he tried to steal something from an electrical pole.
Barely conscious and trapped between transformers is where Sumter police found Wayne Odom.
His stepfather says a bad crack habit led to the serious injury. Marshall Knotts says, "He would do anything he could do to get it. He was so strung out."
Sunday night police say Odom climbed an electrical pole and was shocked. What was he trying to get his hands on, they think, was copper.
Odom has a long criminal past including burglary, grand larcency and drug charges. And now he could face punishment for stealing copper.
His stepfather says if Odom survives, the injury could be a good thing, "If this is not a wake up call, there's never going to be one... "
Odom is in critical condition at the Augusta Burn Center.

ok, can we all agree that crack is an evil mistress? how f'd up do you have to be to think that climbing the utility pole and stripping the transformer is a good idea? his long criminal past should include gross stupidity too. his stepfather said the injury could be a good thing? spoken like a true "stepfather". its not his kid so stepdaddy doesnt care a bit as long as the kid is out of the house. he was going to hook his testicles up to a light switch anyways...this just saved him the trouble. i think we have a new idea for the electric chair.

happy friday...actually happy cinco de mayo. lets get even with those pesky immigrants and not celebrate.

Karma at its finest..............

god must certainly be a baseball fan and with that in mind decided that barry bonds wont beat babe ruth this week. i am actually hoping that god stops him at number three. what are the odds of him taking a ball to the head before a game. rule number one is that you dont stick your head into the batting cage no matter how good of an idea it seems at the time. i'm sure barry has done that a million times and nothing ever happened but not last night. you can almost imagine the conversation.....

god: what do i have to do to stop him. i gave him a bad knee, a bad elbow...what?

st pete: i know, you've done everything.

god: hey, i know. do we have any lightning bolts left?

st pete: no. remember you used your last one on ariel sharon because pat robertson asked you to.

god: oh yeah. well in that case lets just cave his head in.

if only that could be true. hell i'm a reverand and i guess in my religion i'll refer to that as the truth. lets call that gods sermon to the pac bell crowd. again i will say that anything against barry has nothing to do with race but with barry being a prick his whole life and things just catching up with him. karma is an evil mistress.

ok, go about your thursday.

Things you dont expect..........

so i'm conversing with some ladies from my karate class and they said something that blew me away. the two sisters live with their mother (i assume she had them when she was 12 because shes not much older than me) and apparently have a guy living at their home. in the middle of the conversation this line was used...."tim, you know, the guy who lives in our garage". they kept going with the conversation but i stopped. "you have a guy living in your garage" i said, "what the hell is that". seems he used to live in the house but was such a pain in the ass he was relegated to the garage. its a two car garage but he only gets half. tarps are hung up to seperate the living space from storage. they still charge him the same rent though. sounds like a quality guy to me. the point is though that i never thought this petite little thing would say a line like that and then act like its no big deal. like everyone has a guy living in their garage. dont you? i think that from now on i'll try to put this phrase into all my conversations...." so that was right after i blew that chimp". that should turn a few heads. the secret is to keep going like its no big deal. go on you folks try it. put a completely ridiculous phrase right in the middle of your conversation. it keeps people on their toes. they never see it coming.....and why should they? keep in mind though that the phrase "tim, you know, the guy who lives in our garage" is already taken.

hump day. how inappropriately named.

Fox News radio host Tony Snow chosen as new White House press secretary. Job description largely unchanged........

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Fox News' Tony Snow is set to move from the anchor chair to the hot seat, agreeing to take on the role of White House press secretary amid slumping poll ratings for President Bush.
The appointment of Snow, who has formally accepted the job, will be announced Wednesday morning, according to three Republican sources familiar with Snow's discussions with the White House.
He will replace Scott McClellan, who announced last week he would step down from the post during a West Wing makeover by new White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten

apparently you see why fox never has a bad thing to say about this administration. it doesnt look good on their resume to the white house. i guess this just shows that fox news is just another arm of the bush white house. i guess scott mcclellan just ran out of lies or got dizzy from the spinning he had to do. this also proves that fox news is neither fair or balanced.

tuesday everyone....fight the doldrums.

Weekend observations..............

the los angeles bomb squad blew up a newspaper box because when opened a noise came out of it. seems the l.a. times put these machines inside of the boxes to play the mission impossible theme. i assume this is hype for the movie. i cant believe someone called that in to the police. is this what the world has come to? cant you hype a shitty movie without getting a vending machine blown up? what kind of terrorist would put in a soundtrack for their bomb? believe me if a terrorist was going to boobytrap a newspaper machine he wouldnt give you a warning. you would never know what hit you. my only hope is that if a box is boobytrapped that it goes off while tom cruise is sitting on top of it.

i saw some clips of our president on tv while some impersonator was standing next to him .....impersonating him. dubya couldnt have looked more uncomfortable if he tried. the one line i heard was "why couldnt i have dinner with the thirty six percent of the people who like me". i cant believe its still 36%. whats wrong with america. he looked uncomfortable but then i realized there wasnt anyone there to explain the jokes to him. there he was furrowing his brow in a vain attempt to understand. please lets impeach him soon.

big get togethers for darfur over the weekend. its a shame whats happening there and that nobody really knows much about it. i actually blame those people for living where there isnt any oil. its a fact that if you expect america to help you out then you better hold your genocide over a shitload of oil. in reality, whats going on there is a tragedy that we cant comprehend. it will take generations to overcome this if we could stop it today. if you listen to john lennons song "imagine" it makes more and more sense every day.

alright its monday. get on the stick everyone.
