The leader of the 30 million-member National Association of Evangelicals, a vocal opponent of same-sex marriage, resigned Thursday after being accused of paying for sex with a man in monthly trysts over the past three years.
The Rev. Ted Haggard, a married father of five who has been called one of the most influential evangelical Christians in the nation, denied the allegations. His accuser refused to share voice mails that he said backed up his claim.
Haggard also stepped aside as head of his 14,000-member New Life Church while a church panel investigates, saying he could "not continue to minister under the cloud created by the accusations."
live by the sword then you die by the sword (by sword i mean penis). its funny how many of these guys who are so against gays end up being gay. its that self hating gay thing. they are gay but having been told since birth that gays are the most horrible pewople in the world they end up hating themselves for something they have no control over. it just shows you how absurd these organized religions are. now he does admit taking the drugs and he does admit to getting massages but as for the gay sex...well.....he totally denies that. sure you did some drugs and had a guy massage you but you didnt have sex. sure, i believe you. NOT. if you did drugs and you admit it and you are sorry doesnt your religion actually command them to forgive you. getting a massage isnt a bad thing. why quit? because sucking the pee pee cant be forgiven by your church and even if they did how could you get up and preach aainst gays now. thats a conerstone of their message and i'm sure that explaining how your spearheading the war against those godless sodomites is a huge fundraiser. your no longer leading the battle....you've joined the other team. cant have that. the worst part of this si that the people who give to this church will continue to give regardless of this. the church will ask for even more money now that the devil has infiltrated their organization......and the sheeple will line up to donate.
i'm signing off to enjoy my saturday while not donating...have a good one
